Galveston Offshore (qui compte 1000 avis 5 étoiles !) propose des sorties à la jetée, des sorties proche du large pour pêcher le Requin et le Tarpon, ainsi que des sorties exceptionnelles à 30-60 miles pour le Vivaneau. Opérée par le capitaine Shannon LaBauve, cette sortie encadrée est ludique et éducative, et surtout productive ! Le capitaine Shannon guide depuis plus de 25 ans au départ du Galveston Yacht Basin, et capture des poissons dignes de tournois !
Nouveautés pour la saison 2023 de l'Oceanmaster 31 pieds de Galveston Offshore : nouvelle peinture Mesa Grey remplaçant le Sea Foam Green, nouveaux moteurs hors-bord bi-moteur Suzuki 300 CV 2023, nouvelle direction hydraulique double Seastar Ram, nouveaux interrupteurs à bascule et panneau de commande, nouveau traceur GPS Garmin 1243 XSV, nouvelle antenne radio XM Garmin GXM-54, nouvelle radio XM Fusion MS-RA210, nouvelle radio VHF, nouvelle couverture de T-Top, nouveaux coussins de siège, nouveau moteur de traîne ancre Minn Kota 87 pouces, et nouvelle batterie lithium 36 volts simple G Line pour moteur de traîne. À bord, vous trouverez également tout l'équipement de sécurité dont vous pourriez avoir besoin, y compris un système EPIRB de pointe et un radeau de sauvetage pour 8 personnes.
Les poissons de Galveston sont gros et abondants. Vous pouvez pêcher à la jetée le Tambour rouge, la Truite, le Flet, le Grand tambour et les Requins. Ou vous pouvez vous attaquer au favori incontesté, le Vivaneau rouge, pour lequel le capitaine Shannon propose gentiment une initiation dans l'une de ses vidéos. Ensuite, il y a la Grande lingue et le Thazard barré lors des sorties au large qui vous emmènent à environ 25 à 40 miles des côtes. Vous pouvez également aller encore plus loin, jusqu'à 60 miles, et cibler la Coryphène, le Mérou, le Thazard-bâtard et la Sériole.
Galveston Offshore fournira des moulinets Shimano, des cannes de pêche lourde et des appâts vivants. Tout ce à quoi vous devez vraiment penser est une licence de pêche du Texas avec un timbre pour eau salée. Pas de supplément carburant.

Amazing Trip

Went offshore with Captain Shannon and had a great time. He knew where to go and kept us on fish the whole trip.
We got lines in quick and stayed busy. When the bite slowed, he moved us and it paid off. Gear was solid and ready the whole time.
He kept things simple and easy to follow, so nobody felt lost. Boat ride was smooth even when it got a little rough.
We landed some good fish and had fun doing it. I’d go back out with him again for sure.

Captain Shannon was fantastic to fish with. He is truly a master at his craft.
Not only did he put us on some great fish (we did limit out), he was overall genuine, kind and from my brief interaction always tries to do things right. Case in point, we ran over ~500 ft of floating 3in rope on our way out in the dark (morning trip). He untangled it and pulled all of it in his boat, just so another boater wouldn't run over it (so much rope we couldn't even walk on 1 side of the boat).
If your looking for a great human being who also knows how to fish extremely well, he's the one you want. He is defintiely a cut above.
His first mate Blake was also a great deck hand. I highly recommend Captain Shannon (except for when I want to come back down and fish with him :) ).

Captain Shannon was great! We last minute decided to take a fishing trip with my in-laws. We were competing with rough water, and crazy tides. Shannon stuck in with us. We got a few bites at the beginning and then it was just dead, to no fault of his own. He continually tried to reposition us .At go in time we started to catch and he actually stayed out an extra hour and a half with us to make sure we did get some. If I could give more than five stars, I would. When we come back,we will definitely be using him again. Just a great person!

Wife and I had a blast with Shannon. This dude was on it. Games fish from minute one and he put us on the quickly. Fish a spot and move! Can never garuntee fish unless you continue market but he delivered. Already given his info to a few folks. Will book again for sure! Thanks man for a great morning.

I booked this fishing trip looking forward to a good time on the water fishing and this definitely lived up to that . The fishing was the best I have had the experience of having. The captain put us on the fish and we caught our max during the time we were out there. the captain was very helpful and great overall and when we got back to shore, he got the fish cleaned and filleted in no time. overall amazing experience and will do it again.
