Captain Phil is a living legend - full of useful information for us tourists and boy did he put us on the fish. We only went out for a late morning session and ended up landing 4 beautiful wild huge silver bars - king salmon between 15-20lbs. We lost a few more on both the spinner and dead bait rigs, rods were nice lightweight action so the fight was excellent. if u have a morning free, this is a MUST people! Where else in the world can u jump on a boat and within 1 hour be playing wild king salmon?!

Phil is an excellent captain that really knows his stuff. The boat is very modern and in great shape. We had plenty of space and a comfortable ride. Our target was big chinooks and Phil delivered those and more. We trolled a few different locations and hooked into kings, white sea bass, and halibut. Incredible experience. Highly recommend this charter for small groups.

After a rocky ride out to Stinson, Phil was able to steer us in the right direction. Phil was knowledgeable about the sealife and the vicinity. The banter over the radio said there were no fish today, but Phil preserved and we took home a good sized Silver Salmon! My son was so jazzed! Thank you for your expertise Phil!!

We recently had the pleasure of going on a fishing trip with Captain Phil out of Sausalito, and it was an unforgettable experience! From start to finish, Captain Phil demonstrated exceptional professionalism, expertise, and hospitality. *Pre-Trip Communication:* Captain Phil called the day before to confirm all details, ensuring a seamless experience. *Dock and Location:* The dock in Sausalito was easily accessible, with ample parking in a beautiful area. *The Boat:* Captain Phil's vessel was impressive - well-maintained, clean, and mechanically sound. *Fishing Expertise:* Captain Phil's knowledge of fishing spots, tides, currents, and wind conditions was impressive. He expertly guided us to the fish, resulting in an impressive 10 catches (2 Bat Rays, 5 Striper Bass, 2 Halibut, and 1 Shovenose Guitar Fish) during our 8-hour trip. *Customer Service:* Captain Phil was incredibly patient and enthusiastic about teaching my two children (ages 11 and 9) fishing techniques. He made the day enjoyable for all of us, and his ability to identify fish species based on bite patterns was remarkable. *Overall Experience:* Captain Phil has set the bar extremely high for future fishing charters. We had the best day fishing with Phil! He was a very quick to stay in communication with us prior to our trip and provided information on licenses, parking, what to. wear/bring, etc. His boat was very clean and comfortable, and he clearly knows the bay very well. It was the end of the season, but we still caught 3 gorgeous halibut to keep as well as a giant ray and a little shark which were fun to catch. Phil. is such a speedy and attentive captain, and he was constantly baiting and tending to our lines and moving the boat to great fishing spots. He is a good coach too, teaching technique while educating on how different fish approach bait, seasonal patterns, and everything else. We had a blast catching our fish, but even if we had had a dry spell, we would have felt fortunate to fish outside of Alcatraz or viewing the Golden Gate Bridge and seeing all the seals and birds and other boats and tankers. We will definitely hit Phil up for another season!

Our husband and I had a wonderful trip with Captain Phil! We caught beautiful halibut and link cod. We had amazing scenery at each fishing spot we went to. Captain Phil was awesome and had a wonderful boat. Can’t wait to go again.

Communication with Phil was great. It was just my wife and I on the Reel Time Charter. We boarded the beautiful Boston Whaler which was equipped with all the latest technology. Phil was a fantastic guy and very personable. We also got to meet his first mate, a very handsome lab named "Bear." Phil took us around to several spots where we caught a few sting rays and eventually landed two Halibut keepers outside the Golden Gate Bridge. We had a very good time and look forward to going out again sometime down the road when Salmon season returns.

Phil got us on the fish and had a good idea of when our bites would come..we got our limits on Halibut and he knew a lot of history about the area we were fishing. The views you get from the boat are the best! His boat is very nice and clean. Everything about our trip was perfect. We will book with him again.
