Can't say enough about our day off-shore with Capt Chris! We've booked a number of Florida trips through the app-- but Chris has been our favorite. He was engaged, knowledgeable and social. 3 good friends in the 50s just wanted to "rip some lips"-' and Capt Chris put us on the fish. I think we hit on every spot he chose. We all 3 had a blast catching 3 Trigger fish, 15 Vermilion snapper, 18 Amberjack, 4 BEAUTIFUL Red Snapper (restricted and returned-- but DAMN they looked good!); and one us even put in 45 mins bringing a 7ft Sandbar shark alongside the boat-- all on a 6 hour trip that took us 20 miles off the coast. Capt Chris was everything we expected and more. We meet in Jax Beach once a year and he'll be our choice again next year. We finished the night with cooking thos 3 Trigger fish (Amazing!) and a half dozen Vermilion snapper filets. Everything we wanted and more. Enuff said!

Chris the best captain I have ever fished with. We did an 8 hour run with six anglers, catching live bait was a lot of fun, got on some good size barracudas, a king, three sharks, triggerfish, porgies, red snappers that we had to throw back and our limit of 30 vermillion snapper. Great way to fill a cooler with fillets, chris expertly filleted everything for us. Will definitely book with him again.

Great trip! Booked for Farhers’s Day, kids had a great time, started closet into Mayport with older 2 landing 3 Benito, 1 Barracuda, got off to a quick start. Then moved further out to fish for bait, which was great for the youngest who enjoyed catching the bait fish. Went a little further to try for something bigger, no luck at 1st stop but Mike quickly recognized it wasn’t too promising and moved us further out where we brought in 2 Amberjack and another Barracuda. Was a great day, and Mike was great with the kids. Highly recommend.

Captain Chris put us on the fish! We came out the pass and Caught live bait with sabiki rigs( a much needed warm up.) We caught plenty of bait then headed 40plus miles offshore. We pulled in tons of fish! Some being Amberjacks, cobia, porgy, huge margove snappers, barracudas, beeliner snapper & even a couple bonus seabass. We filled our freezers . Thanks, Chris!

Went Fishing with Sweet Lips Charter with Capt Chris. Day started a lil rocky and broke off a few Kingfish but after lunch the bite was on fire and we loaded the boat with a huge Barracuda, couple big AJs, big Grouper, triggerfish, b-liners and caught 10+ endangered Red Snappers which were all safely released. All and all it was a fantastic day on the water and Capt Chris knows how to catch the fish!!! Would highly recommend if you are ever in Jacksonville and want to fish offshore!!!

Went out on 12/3/23 with a group of 4 guys. We caught several Sea Bass and Trigger fish. About 25 keepers in total. Also caught a few vermillion and some snappers we had to throw back. Saw a few Cobia as well but missed out on catching those. All in all a fun trip and Chris is a great guide and Captain. He made our experience fun and stress free which is exactly what we hoped for. We had an incredible time with Captain Chris. I was not expecting to fish for some of our live bait, but it was a fun way to start off the day. After about 20 minutes of fishing we had all the live bait we needed for the whole day. Once we got to the first main fishing spot I caught a 20 pound red snapper within seconds of my line hitting the bottom. I wish it was in season so I could have kept it. One of the best highlights of the day was fishing next to the deserted raft we saw floating 50 miles off shore. We had to have caught 10-15 Mahi with 3 of them being large enough to keep. They were basically jumping in the boat. At the end of the day we caught a few 3-4 foot sharks which were pretty exciting. We didn't catch it but a 7-8 foot hammerhead chased my bait back to the boat. After the trip was over, Captain Chris fileted and skinned all of the fish for us and even split it up into separate bags for the 5 of us. I'm looking forward to going fishing with them again.

Captain Chris, who is the local jax Beach, Mayport, knowledgeable. I caught as many fish as I could stand plus a 30 minute fight with the bar shark check out my video it will show it. I’m at Florida. Gulf coast to local that will never go with anyone else. Thanks again Captain Chris for the knowledge conversation and overall fun with only a half day trip. I plan on coming back for a longer offshore big fillet fishing.

We had an excellent trip with Chris! Couldn’t have asked for a better captain. He was attentive at all times and was great fishing with the kids. Experience is a plus and this guy knows his stuff. We’ll definitely go out with SweetLips again

Forecast was 20+ knots and 6'-8' seas offshore. Captain suggested inshore trip. We fished in the river, and caught several species of fish. Trout, Sheepshead, Black Bass, and others. Captain was prepared with live shrimp, frozen shrimp, live crabs, and frozen cut bait. Everyone on the trip caught fish and had fun.
