Couldn't ask for a better morning

Watching the sun rise, watching trains pass by, cathing fish left and right. I can't think of a much better way to spend the morning. Captain makes it very fun. Gives advice of where to cast and once the bite slows down, time for a new spot. Thanks again Capt, will be back again!

    Fantastic birthday outing!

my wife planned this birthday trip for me and my friends and I had a wonderful time. The captain was very friendly and helpful and everyone had a wonderful time talking and on the boat. I did catch a catfish and that made my day! I would definitely do it again and recommend it to others.

    (4 hr. Inshore fishing)

    Perfect day on the water!

My wife and I booked this relatively last minute and our Captain was great! We had a fish on the boat within 30 minutes of being in the water. On the quick trip between spots we saw manatees and dolphins as well. We caught 6+ species and my wife of course hooked the biggest fish of the day!

Catfish fishing is a favorite for many anglers. These whiskered fish are common in rivers, lakes, and reservoirs. They fight hard, bite at night, and taste great. Most people target them because they are accessible and active for much of the year.

You can catch Catfish by bottom fishing from shore or a boat. Use cut bait, live bait, or prepared stink baits. A simple slip-sinker rig lets the fish take the bait without feeling weight. Pair it with a circle hook and a strong leader. Drift with the current or anchor and wait. For larger Blue Catfish and Flathead Catfish, fresh bait fish works best.

Expect a relaxed, patient style of fishing with bursts of action. It suits families, beginners, and trophy hunters alike. Many anglers fish at dusk or after dark when Catfish feed more. Bring a headlamp, gloves, sturdy rod holders, and a cooler for your catch. Wear clothes you do not mind getting messy. Handle fish with care to avoid the sharp dorsal and pectoral spines.

Before your trip, check local rules. Make sure you have the right fishing license or permits. Review any season, size, and harvest regulations for your water. Some areas have special rules for certain Catfish species. When in doubt, ask local authorities or your guide for the latest information.
