    (4 Hour Trip – Bowfishing)

    awesome experience

My son had bee. asking a lot about Bow Fishing and we had a family trip to Orlando planned. It was a great fit and the night time fishing was new for both of us. Captian Michael was very helpful in demonstrating and letting us both pratice before getting to the fishing area. He was very helpful and patient and helpful with both of us.

Tilapia fishing is all about fast action in calm, warm freshwater. Tilapia are strong Panfish that love shallow lakes, ponds, canals, and slow rivers. Anglers target them for steady bites, light-tackle fun, and tasty fillets.

You can catch Tilapia with simple tackle. Use a light spinning setup, 4–10 lb line, and small hooks. Float rigs with bread, corn, dough baits, or worms work well. Small jigs also produce fish. Cast near reeds, brush, docks, and other structure. Move quietly and set the hook gently because Tilapia have soft mouths.

Expect a relaxed, close-to-shore trip that suits beginners, kids, and anyone who enjoys steady action. Sight fishing along the bank is common on clear days. Early morning and late afternoon often bring more bites. Bring polarized sunglasses, sun protection, drinking water, and a small cooler with ice if you plan to keep fish. A landing net and long-nose pliers make releases easier.

Regulations can change by state, province, and country. Always check local fishing license and permit rules before you go. Review open seasons, gear restrictions, and harvest limits where you plan to fish. In some areas Tilapia are managed differently, so know the local rules and follow best practices for handling and harvest.
