My father has over forty years of experience as a captain in Destin, Florida. I learned so much from him. I have been working the waters in Destin for over a decade, and have been running my own boat for the past four years. I most enjoy teaching people about the waters and the different types of creatures. Our boat offers much more than fishing, you'll get the full '5th Day' experience.

Nous avons passé un moment absolument phénoménal lors de notre sortie de pêche encadrée ! La météo était assez mauvaise au début, mais le capitaine et l'équipage ont persévéré, naviguant habilement dans les vagues pour nous amener directement là où se trouvaient les poissons. Une fois que nous avons trouvé l'endroit, l'action était non-stop ! Nous avons pris tellement de poissons, remplissant complètement notre glacière de Vivaneau, de baliste et nous avons même pris un maquereau ! L'équipage a travaillé incroyablement dur, gardant nos lignes appâtées et s'assurant que tout le monde à bord passait un excellent moment. Même avec le départ difficile, l'expérience a été le point fort de nos vacances. Nous avons hâte de revenir et de réserver une autre sortie ! Nous recommandons vivement cet équipage.

We had Captain Jimmy and 1st mate Nick. Nick did a great job with all the tacke and keeping bait on our hooks. Captain Jimmy kept finding fish for us to catch. We caught a bunch of fish but only about 10 keepers. while out on the water we were thinking maybe it just wasn’t our day. However, when we returned to dock we noticed others had hardly caught anything at all. So, even on a day that the finish “weren’t biting” Jimmy still found us fish to catch! We had a great time and we will definitely book with Emerald Coast Charters again.

Captain Jimmy kept us on the fish. I caught fish until my arms gave out. Nick was an awesome 1st mate. For a young guy he did an excellent job. You do not see a lot of young men that puts as much into what they are doing as he did. I kept telling him, I can bait my own hook. Keep the others baited. He still tried helping. I watched him tying knots on the line, cleaning fish and he did awesome. Someone did a great job training him and you can tell he loves what he is doing.

We lucked out with Captain Jim & first mate Nick! They had so much knowledge and made us all feel really comfortable. We had a cooler, windy day but still had a great haul. The trolling was a fun introductory to sea fishing with kids (12,12,15). Be sure to dress is layers if its earlier in the spring. May also consider Dramamine if heading out on the Gulf of America. It’s alot choppier than the Bay. Overall, just ask if you don’t know and they will kindly answer.

La capitaine Brandy et le premier lieutenant Nick étaient fantastiques !!!!! Nous avons passé un moment absolument incroyable et attrapé plein de poissons ! Nous étions une famille de 6 et nous avons pris du poisson à chaque spot... on a même eu de vrais géants qui ont cassé la ligne..... Nick a travaillé très très dur pour garder vos lignes appâtées et à l'eau.... Je vais réserver ce même bateau et j'espère le même équipage à nouveau !!!! A ++++++++++++++++ de plus, les deux étaient très instructifs sur la pêche !!!!
