Tarpon and Triple Tail

We started the morning hunting tarpon and found them. Rolling all over the place and had one monster nearly jump in the boat. They were not hitting our bait though. Our son hooked into a monster black drum though. That was a fun catch. We then moved out for triple tail but only some juveniles were hanging out. This was 4th of July week and the fishing is crowded so others probably beat us to the triple tail spots. Overall, we had a great trip and an hour of good looks at tarpon. They are super picky, so it's pure luck getting one to bite. Our luck wasn't with us on this ride. Next time! Captain Mark will take care of you!

La fin de l'été ne signifie pas la fin de l'excellente pêche ici à Apalachicola ! Les sérioles, les coryphènes et les carangues crevalle sont toujours à leur apogée et vos chances de capturer presque toutes les autres espèces sont également très bonnes.
