Born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley, Capt. Efrain has been fishing the Lower Laguna Madre for many years by wading and kayaking on several different boats. Now the captain uses a 2024 - 21' Shallow Master with trolling motor that's excellent for shallow water fishing with extremely easy access to transition into wading.

Booked a half day trip with CPT DLS and it was definitely worth the time and energy. The trip had plenty of keeper fish as well as other catches. Very entertaining and enjoyable trip, his boat is clean and maintained very professionally, we definitely felt very well taken care off. CPT DLS is very engaging and helpful with tips and techniques and also amazing action shots with awesome pictures and videos . I will definitely be coming back with my friends again in and again after that.

WOW! What a amazing fishing adventure. Captain Santos put us on the fish right away and the excitement began. Captain Santos is truly a 5 STAR + fishing experience. This is our second time with the Captain. We loved it. 4/30/2023

Fishing w/Salty Waders was "cool beans." He put me on 'em & I experienced a great wade fishing trip. Definitely "hooking up" w/Captain Dls again. String It! Let 'Em Drag! Lower Laguna Madre!

I Had a pleasant fishing experience with Captain Efrain DLS. He knows the area well and will definitely put you on some fish! Very nice boat too! I recommend you book a trip with him.
