Sortie d'une demi-journée – Matin • 3 adultes • 2 enfantsMark the Shark got us on some dolphin and we were likely the only charter that got on fish that day, the seas were rough and we saw several boats coming in empty handed. We got on multiple Mahi, and I landed a massive 250lb Goliath Grouper in the inlet when we headed back in. Great day, and got to teach the kids about tag / release etc.. Plus we ate well that night Mahi Nuggets for everyone haha!

Sortie de 8 heures - Pêche sportive • 6 adultesoverall trip was just ok, very young deckhand (13) but seemed knowledgeable for his age. The captain picked up a woman he knew along the way. Didn’t ask us if we minded. We caught 3 fish, didnt offer to clean, filet or anything. When we arrived back we asked to keep the tuna we caught and it seemed to inconvenience them. Matk the shark may be a local celebrity but he forgot charters put him on the map. Never again.
Réponse du CapitaineThank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re truly sorry your trip did not meet your expectations and that the fishing was slower than we had hoped. We always do our very best, but fishing can be unpredictable. Unfortunately, our regular mate had to cancel unexpectedly that morning, (sick)so our backup mate, who was still learning, stepped in to help. We appreciate your patience and understanding. Regarding the woman who briefly came aboard, we understand how her presence may have been confusing or concerning. we apologize for any misunderstanding or discomfort this may have caused. You were absolutely welcome to keep your tuna if you wished, and we apologize if there was any misunderstanding. We sincerely apologize for your disappointment and truly appreciate your feedback. We will use your comments to continue improving the experience we provide for all of our guests.

Full Day Trip • 2 adultesCaptain and crew seemed like good guys. If the weather was good it probably would have been a great day. But you can't control the weather and I understand that. My issue is with business practices. 2 days out I get a text from captain asking to delay charter one day due to bad weather. I reply that we are leaving that day and cannot delay charter. That evening I check tv, internet, and noaa offshore weather to find terrible terrible forecast. 25 to 40 kt winds and rain. The next day I text captain that we should cancel. He replies that the weather will be great. Don't worry. Trust me I do this every day. Then that evening I get a text asking for a decision because he has someone else wanting to go out that day. Against my father's advice I agree to keep charter. Morning of charter all weather reports are still terrible. More texts guaranteeing it will be nice. I explain my 76 yo dad doesn't really want to get thrown all around. Oh no it's gonna be nice trust me I do this everyday. We arrive 8am and parking lot signs are getting blown over. But everything is ok cause it's gonna blow thru. I pay balance and we are off. It's too rough to go out in the ocean in a 50ft boat so we sit inside a jetty for several hours till I pull the plug. 1100 dollars plus I still tipped the mates 200 is spent for 3 hours sitting in a boat in the channel. My dad, a retired sailor and former boat captain, laughs at me and says 'you know he knew the whole time right'. I knew. Just didn't listen to my own common sense. Fyi. I've ran charter boats in the past and I knew better. Messed up and listened to someone else this time.

Septembre est un bon mois pour tous les styles de pêche. Les Espadons sont à leur apogée, les Marlins sont toujours présents, et sur les récifs les Mérous deviennent énormes, parfaits pour un délicieux repas en fin de journée.
