Captain Doug reported a cool day on Alaska’s Knik River, where the season has gotten off to a late start due to cooler weather, but the king salmon fishing was excellent. Despite the chilly temperatures, the bite stayed strong and the river produced two beautiful king salmon today, making for a memorable outing on the water.
