The large mature King Salmon have made their way to Grand Haven. Fishing has been excellent with catches in the double digits of 12-19 lb salmon on the morning trips becoming more common. These fish should stick around within a few miles of the harbor until they begin their annual spawning run in Mid August.

Salmon fishing in Grand Haven remains excellent! We have had several trips with nice catches of large mature King salmon. The fish have been in shallow water from the river close to the pierheads out to 100 ft of water. Mostly plugs and spoons on copper lines and downriggers
