We had the absolute pleasure of hosting a fantastic group from Texas on July 10th. Their primary goal for the day was maximizing action on the water, so we targeted our local shark and ray fishery—hands down one of the most productive and exciting fisheries in California. The action was non-stop; after four hours of continuous catching, the group was completely satisfied and decided to call it a day.

Weather conditions over the last two days have been fantastic, though the salmon fishing has been a tough grind across the fleet. Thanks to some long hours and hard work, Vincent and I have successfully landed fish each day. We have one final day on the water before the upcoming short closure, and we look forward to getting back after the salmon in August.

Awesome day on the water with a group of young guys from Alameda! The energy was top-tier, which was huge because the bite was definitely a tough one today. Vincent and I worked our tails off to put some fish in the boat. The halibut weren't cooperating, but we ground it out and ended up with a striper, a cooler packed with rockfish, and some massive rays to end the day on a high note! ??

What a difference a day makes in salmon fishing! We went from our best bite of the season to one of our toughest days, but the team didn't back down. We put in 100% effort, worked hard for every fish, and ultimately brought home 8 salmon and one beautiful striped bass for our 5 guests. Huge thanks to our crew for their dedication today!
