Résumé du voyage

Had a great trip today with a great group of guys! Started out tough but when the tide switched the fish turned on. We had 2 inshore slams and 2 others were a trout away and the other was a redfish away!! We caught 20+ redfish, 15+ snook, 30+ sheepshead, 15+ trout and a couple ladyfish. Everyone caught a bunch of fish and got to play with some puffer fish. We also saw manatee all day.

The nearshore bottom fishing has been incredible for hogfish, mangrove, snapper and grunts! Limits of hogfish have not been uncommon on the all day trips. Lots of big throwback grouper as well.

Had a mangrove snapper smash fest in Tampa bay yesterday with 5 limits of good ones. We threw back 4 times what we kept. Had some throw back grouper and flounder as well!!! Started the day off, catching some snook and redfish. If you’re looking to catch some mangrove snapper and grunts to fill the freezer and not wanting to have to go out in the gulf!
