The Belgrade lakes are open for "ice out" bass fishing. Water temperature are beginning to rise and the pre spawn bass are looking to feed. This time of year the bass love to chase a moving bait as they move up into shallower water. The preferred time to fish is later in the day as this gives any daytime sun a chance to warm up certain parts of the lake.
