Mothers day Catch!

Managed 5 quality Whiting (12"+) this morning in just a few hours. The weeds are still pretty bad along the coast, but I was able to find a stretch with very little grass. The bite wasn't fast and furious, but it stayed steady enough to keep things interesting. (Ish)6:00 AM - 10:00 AM The current was rolling hard to the north, but the Over The Bar Rods sent the lead where it needed to go, and my 4oz Sputniks held bottom. As always, Fishbites stayed on the hooks. Some rods got Fishbites only, while others were tipped with shrimp. ? Benjamins Beach Wheels rolling down the beach. ? Humphrey Fishing hand-tied rigs with 1/0 & 2/0 Seaworx Fishing Mutsu Light Circle Hooks. Coastline Creations Floating Shakas were getting hammered! Five fish in the cooler, salt in the air, and a few hours of the best therapy money can't buy. Today was a first! First time Christian reeled in a good size shark! So proud of him! We Had a good day today. Caught some bigger fish today! 13" whiting, 13" Pompano, 2 catfish and a 67" Blacktip Shark. She was tagged and released! She ate the head of the whiting. Pompano bit on bottom drop on one of Salty’s Pompano Rigs! Orange and white EzFlea Fishbites tipped with dead shrimp.
