What a spectacular day out on the Atlantic! We headed out for a 4-hour coastal charter, and even though the fish were holding a bit far offshore today, our patience and determination paid off in the most rewarding way possible. After scanning the blue waters, the reels suddenly screamed to life. We hooked into a massive Bigeye Tuna, weighing in at an impressive 160 lbs! A First-Time Experience to Remember This charter was incredibly special for us. It marked the very first tuna fishing experience for our young guest angler. Big Game tuna fishing is widely known as one of the ultimate, most thrilling angling challenges you can practice anywhere in the world—and this young man handled it like a true professional. Seeing the sheer joy and pure adrenaline on our clients' faces as they brought this powerful fish to the boat is exactly why we love what we do. The sky was heavily overcast, but with the sea beautifully calm, we just had to head out! The day started on the quiet side, but we knew the fish were further out toward the east side of the island. Knowing that a standard 4-hour charter wouldn't give us enough time to reach the hot spot, we advised our client to extend the trip—and it completely paid off! About 2 hours in, the reels started screaming! We hooked our first 2 Bigeye Tuna (Patudos). We worked the fish smoothly, and not long after, we boated another 2.
