The prefrontal bite has continued to be successful fish are very active with both artificial and live bait. Deeper water with structure and deeper grassbeds have held great numbers of fish in the morning and as the day warms up redfish and black drum move through the flats. Live shrimp under a poping cork and carolina rig has proved to be the most successful.

As the colder air and water temperatures arrive great numbers of black drum show up all over the laguna madre as well as red fish and speckled trout. If you dont mind being on the water in cooler temperatures fishing is amazing
