Mahi was caught east of the St. Lucie inlet in about 170 ft., but the bite was scarce. We then headed inshore and ended up catching these two snook on the outgoing tide near the inlet. Started the day bait fishing just out side the inlet, we then moved inshore and caught our first snook on the first cast. we then moved around to different locations where we picked up a few more snook and jacks. Customer wanted to go offshore to pick up smithing different, we got on a school of Bonitas and had a blast. Our last bait yielded a 4 foot shark. Large Jacks are showing up just outside the St. Lucie Inlet on the outgoing tide. You can catch them with live bait or using a large top water plug and working it aggressively.
