Casey was a great guide on our Manistee River trip for trout. He has a lot of knowledge to share, he was courteous, helpful, and funny, and his boat and equipment were great. My husband and I had a great time, and we fished a full-day trip with Casey, but we only landed one trout... not for lack of trying, though. Casey helped us throw multiple things at them, the bite was just abnormally slow. We tried crankbaits, spinners, and flies. Recent rains really stained the river water, and we tried hard, but the fish just weren't having it today... no fault of Casey's, though. He's a great guide, and we would recommend him highly to others. He will do his absolute best to put you on the fish.

Casey is great and we highly recommend! We caught many fish! He asked ahead of time what our expectations were for the day and he was very adaptable. From no experience to many years of fishing, it doesn’t matter you’ll still have a great time and Casey will assisted as needed. We thank him for a great time!

Casey is a top notch guide and fisherman. The conditions were unfortunate and we did not catch trout. Interestingly enough, got into a smallmouth bass! Casey is patient with lesser experienced fly fishermen. The scenery is beautiful. We will book with Casey again!

panfish, small mouth bass. captain had nice tackle for everyone to use, maximized our opportunities to find fish, and was very patient with our 10yo daughter. Want to go back and try his night trout fishing trip. Strongly recommend!
