The captain knows where the fish are. Whether your a catch and pic then release fisher person or on a meat hunt, this is your Captain. Not only did he put us on the fish, he went out of his way to make our day super memorable. Whether your a novice or a pro, he's got your back. The vessel is top notch and if the weather is right he will take you to a honey hole and move five feet after the initial anchor point to get right on the bite. Sit in the back jump seat for a smooth ride, sunscreen up and listen. Relax and let the cap do what he does! Going to book this charter every time I'm in the keys...I'm going to fly him down to Texas and let him cap our family catamaran...I am a cap myself and this guy knows what he's doing! BET!

My mom, sister, and I had an amazing day fishing with Captain Alex and Salt Creek Fishing! We started early to have the best chance at catching large tarpon, and that did not disappoint. We caught 2 before the sun came up! We caught a variety of other fish to include a yellow Jack that we were able to take to a nearby restaurant for a delicious lunch. We ended the trip reeling in two lemon sharks. Captain Alex was very knowledgeable and friendly. It was a great trip!

My son and I had a great time with Captain Alex. Tarpon was on our bucket list. I was able to catch one first thing in the morning. After that it seemed as if the fish just didn't care to bite. Alex tried hard to locate some cooperative fish. After a couple of moves we went back to the area we started in. We managed to get another hookup, but were unsuccessful in landing that fish. In between stops he put us on some snapper and we caught enough fish for a local restaurant to prepare for that evening meal. We both had a great experience and we are definitely coming back to fulfill that bucket list!

The details matter. As a former deckhand I can tell when the captain is giving it 100% and Alex delivers. Alex is super friendly and knowledgeable about fishing the area. The boat is set up perfectly for backwater/ inshore fishing with the range to get offshore weather permitting. Live bait was on the boat when we were picked up, also got some Ballyhoo in the throw net at one spot. This was a family trip and everyone caught fish and had fun. Capt. Alex worked hard to put on the fish. We targeted multiple species and fished several different presentations. Mangrove Snapper and assorted Grouper were plentiful.(fish tacos were excellent!) Sashimi was suggested for the Cero Mackerel- no problem, Alex bled the fish before going on ice. We even fished a little past our prearanged time to try to get a big one for the road. Fish cleaning was handled promptly at the dock and we were on our way with dinner. I would definitely book again. Thanks Alex!
