Catchin Hell Charters offers exciting Walleye fishing trips on the Detroit River. Your guide for the day, Captain Jon Adolph, has been fishing here since he was a kid and knows these waters like the back of his hand. He tailors his trips to all ages and skill levels and welcomes you aboard for a rod-bending adventure!
You'll be fishing from a 26' Alumaweld Columbia, powered by a 250 HP Mercury engine. This boat comes with everything you need for a successful day of fishing, including navigational electronics, outriggers, a wireless trolling motor, livewell, and portable toilet. The boat's ample seating and spacious cabin make it a comfortable and family-friendly vessel that can accommodate up to 6 guests.
You'll head down the Detroit River in search of delicious Walleye. This river is brimming with lots of fish and you'll have a fair shot at the action, no matter your level of experience. Capt. Jon will provide as much assistance as you need and work tirelessly to put you on fish.
You'll be provided with top-quality rods and reels, as well as lures and bait, so you can get the best experience while fishing. Capt. Jon will offer to clean and fillet your catch so you can reward yourself with a delicious meal after your trip.
Just remember to purchase your fishing license online, bring extra layers of clothing, and feel free to pack some snacks and beverages. Catchin Hell Charters will take care of the rest so you and your family can enjoy a productive day of fishing and create lasting memories on the Detroit River!

6 of us did a pm
and am trip with Captain Jon and Norm. We caught lots of fish though the weather was cold and the bite was slow at times. They both worked hard to put us on the fish. Both of them were easy to talk to and have conversations and plenty of tips on carching walleye. will defintely be back next year!

Me and 3 of my friends booked the charter and had a blast! Captain Jon was very knowledgeable and experienced at fishing the Detroit river. He put us right on the fish from the start. Communication was great from the time we arrived to the time we left. Jon made it very clear on what we had to do to catch fish. I definitely recommend this charter.

The Captain and crew(wife😊) were friendly, professional and worked very hard to make our trip a complete success. The boat and fishing equipment were first class. Even if we hadn't caught our limit the real value of this charter was the total experience! WE HAD FUN and it was well worth the value we received. Exceeded our expectations!

Capt. John provides a comfortable, friendly and professional fishing experience. He is a 'hands off' guy that allows you to figure it out on your own while providing some helpful tips along the way. He put us on fish and kept us on fish the entire afternoon. His boat layout is accommodating for our group of 6 with plenty of room to maneuver within the boat. Our group had an incredible afternoon and would absolutely recommend him to anyone. Thank you Capt. John and to your girlfriend/first mate who joined us for the day to assist with the netting. A great time was had by all!
