What an incredible experience with Y-Knot Charters! From the moment we booked, everything was first-class. Derek was incredibly responsive, answered every question promptly, and provided all the details we needed, making the booking process completely seamless. Captain Ack and Wesley were an outstanding team. Wesley expertly handled the navigation while Captain Ack orchestrated the entire fishing operation—from selecting the best fishing grounds and rigging the lines to choosing the right bait and making adjustments throughout the trip. It was obvious they knew these waters inside and out. We booked the morning half-day charter, departed right on time, and the action started almost immediately. Within the first 30 minutes we had a barracuda on the line, followed about 30 minutes later by a beautiful mahi-mahi. We landed another barracuda, and then, in the final hour, capped off the trip with an absolute monster wahoo! One of the highlights was how much Captain Ack shared along the way. He explained the purpose behind every rig, bait selection, and adjustment, turning the trip into both an exciting fishing adventure and a chance to learn from a true professional. His personality made the experience even better—engaging, funny, and genuinely passionate about what he does. The four hours flew by, and we left with incredible memories, great fish, and an even greater appreciation for the crew’s skill and hospitality. If you’re fishing in Curaçao, the Party Hooker with Capt. Ack and Wesley is the charter you book. These two are absolute pros — skilled, patient, and genuinely great humans who make the whole experience feel effortless and fun. They were amazing with our kids, keeping them involved, teaching them, and making sure they had the time of their lives. We reeled in a gorgeous tuna, and instead of just tossing them on ice, Ack and Wesley turned our catch into fresh sashimi and ceviche right on the boat. It was unreal — some of the freshest, most delicious fish we’ve ever tasted. We also caught a barracuda!!! The boat was spotless, well‑equipped, and the vibe was that perfect mix of relaxed and high‑energy. You can tell these guys love what they do. And for the record — we also learned that ballyhoo are the only fish that can see their own chin. 😆 If you want a charter that’s professional, family‑friendly, and delivers a truly unforgettable Caribbean adventure, the Party Hooker is it.

We had an awesome deep sea fishing experience overall! We ended up landing a massive yellowfin tuna—around 40 kg—which was an absolute thrill and something we won’t forget anytime soon. The captain and mate were fantastic: super knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly very experienced. They worked hard to get us on fish and made the whole trip smooth and enjoyable—easily a 10/10 for the crew. The only downside, and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5, was that we didn’t get to keep any of the tuna. That was a bit disappointing, especially after such an incredible catch, and something we wish had been clearer upfront. That said, it was still an unforgettable experience, and we’d absolutely recommend this charter—just be sure to ask about the fish retention policy ahead of time!

Vooral voor mijn zoon van 7 jaar was het een dag om nooit te vergeten. Vanaf het moment dat we aan boord stapten, voelde alles ontspannen, professioneel en vooral heel plezierig. De crew verdient een groot compliment. Ze waren vriendelijk, geduldig en duidelijk gewend om met zowel volwassenen als kinderen om te gaan. Mijn zoon werd overal bij betrokken, kreeg uitleg over het materiaal, de vissen en hoe alles werkte, en werd op een leuke en veilige manier aangemoedigd. Dat zorgde ervoor dat hij zich echt onderdeel van het avontuur voelde. Je zag aan alles dat ze plezier hebben in hun werk en dat straalt af op de hele sfeer aan boord. Ook qua vangst was het een topdag: we hebben maar liefst 7 vissen gevangen! Dat maakt het natuurlijk extra leuk, zeker voor een kind. Elke vangst werd enthousiast ontvangen en er was veel aandacht voor wat er gevangen werd. De materialen aan boord waren van goede kwaliteit en duidelijk goed onderhouden, wat vertrouwen geeft, zeker wanneer je met een jong kind op zee bent. Daarnaast werkte alles mee: prachtig weer, een rustige zee en schitterende uitzichten. Het was echt zo’n dag waarop alles klopt. Niet gehaast, geen stress, maar genieten van de zee, het vissen en elkaars gezelschap. Voor ons was dit absoluut voor herhaling vatbaar. Mijn zoon praat er nog steeds over en vraagt al wanneer we weer mogen. Als je op zoek bent naar een professionele, gezellige en kindvriendelijke vistrip op zee met een leuke crew, goed materiaal en een grote kans op een mooie vangst, dan kan ik dit bedrijf van harte aanbevelen. “First time ever deep sea fishing and Keto and Ack were amazing! They educated us on exactly what kind of fish we were targeting. I would highly recommend it to anybody without little kids. If you’re gonna be on your cell phones the whole time, don’t do it. Go there for a real organic experience. It was awesome, and they are both amazing cooks too. Thanks, guys

We were catching fish in the first 30 minutes on the boat. We caught 11 total fish total. Wahoo, Barracuda, Tuna and Mahi Mahi. The crew was very professional and know were to go to catch fish!! Absolutely would charter with them again!!

We had an amazing trip and caught lots of fish. The captain and crew really made the trip. They were very friendly and great to talk to which made the overall trip a great experience. We will be back with them next year.
