I took my two sons (15 and 10) and a friend's son (9) with four of us and we had a fantastic time. Captain Marwan made the the time on the Sea enjoyable, educational, and comfortable. We caught a Mahi Mahi, had squids escaped, and the Captain wanted to stay out longer for us to catch more, but we had to go back in for another appointment. But this shows the dedication of Captain Marwan to give the best experience even by lengthening the time at no cost. I would definitely recommend Captain Marwan and look forward to going again if in Jordan.

I've never caught a tuna before and I really enjoyed catching 2 today. Great day. Well worth it. Great day with Mawan

It was a nice fishing day with Marwan for myself, son in law and grandson. First catch was two nice tuna simultaniously:) A bit of a hassle for us but with a good coatching by Marwan we got the fish up. The kalamari was winshed up from 500m deep! And it tasted good?. Sushi bite on board?. I used to fly fishermen out to the lakes and rivers in finnish lappland wilderness. This was a nice experience to be a quest in a red sea environment. Towards the end of our trip we got exiting experience of a minor engine malfunction but Marwan's fisherman friends helped us out and we got back to harbour. My advice yo my dear fishing colleague is to use a check list like we pilots use. Human factor has thought us that we can not trust human mind... Also we got our catch taken to a nearby "souk" freezer by Marwan, where we rescued them nicely packed to take them with us. Thank you Marwan? In finland we use to say:"Kireitä siimoja" (tight fishing lines)?

The squid catch was amazing. Unfortunately, 95% of the day was trying to catch tiny Mackerel.

I had high hopes for this trip. Great reviews and great photos but i left disappointed and quite frankly felt scammed. I traveled half way across the world to do some fishing but i sat and watched as the captain was the only one who was really fishing. Once we anchored he passed out some jigging rods and just told us to drop the lures and reel back up and keep repeating. Meanwhile he set up his deepsea equipment and began to fish. We as a group of 4 only caught 1 tiny mackerel that was accidentally side hooked. Then for the remainder of the trip we did nothing but drop and reel. You would think the Captain would have maybe given us some tips and tricks from his many years of experience but no...nothing. You would think he would try different lures or different spots but no...nothing. He was more concerned about his catch. The captain had 2 real catches in 5hrs. A homboldt squid and a swordfish. Then the captain made sure everyone in the group took pictures/videos of HIM reeling and pulling in the catch for his social media pages. Afterwards we were allowed to take pictures with the catch to give off the illusion that we caught anything. The whole 5 hours felt cheap and boring. Now some in my group had fun because they have never fished or even been on a boat in their entire lives and for them this was good experience. I can see for some they will enjoy this type of trip but if you fish and enjoy the "thrill of the catch" then AVOID captain marwan trips. If you want to fund his fishing trip and you just be a passenger then captain marwan is for you. Also bring your own snacks, the only snacks we was offered was water.

There were seven of us on the trip and Capt Marwan made sure that each caught a nice fish, not to mention the few we managed to lose after hooking. He knows his waters and his techniques so you can count on action, if you go fishing with him. Tuna of 4-5 kg were fierce fighters, as well as a 12 kg barracuda, not to mention the new experience of catching squid from as deep as 500 meters below your boat. Highly recommended!

Aqaba is now one of our favorite places after spending the morning with Dr. Marian.

Ongelofelijk mooie ervaring met ons gezin. Vissen op 500 m diepte op een prachtige plek ongeveer 15 minuten varen vanuit Aqaba. Super aardige kapitein. Vangst: octopus, 7 haaien, bomfret. De laatste schoongemaakt door kapitein Marwan en thuis heerlijk van gegeten.

We had a lovely experience with Captain Marwan! He is truly a professional fisherman. We were able to bring home tuna, barracuda, and Pomfret. He had a variety of equipment to ensure that we could bring home fish. He was so kind to show us a place that would clean and fillet it for us.

This trip was great , Captain Marwan was very hospitable, he had drinks for us , the boat was very clean and very safe, our conversation was awesome, my son and I would recommend him for sure.
