Tamarindo Fishing Trips 

We had the absolute BEST DAY EVER catching yellowfin tuna, rainbow runner, dory, black tuna for bait, and trigger fish! Kener was the best captain, we didn’t have much experience and he was very knowledgeable and kind and taught us everything we needed to know to catch a boat load of fish. Kener brought us loads of snacks, beer, and the fixings to prepare two rounds of fresh tuna tartare ON THE BOAT!!!!!! Best meal ever. He also showed us where to have our fish prepared right on the beach with a fire show after. Could not have imagined a better first fishing trip (and to think we only did the half day)! Highly recommend going with Kener, we will definitely come back for round two.

this was oir second trip with Tamarindo Fishing. Kenal and Pablo worked well together as a good team. We wanted to catch fish to eat so Kenal suggested starting with bottom fishing for snapper and grouper. We had fish in the boat within 5 minutes of reaching the first spot. We moved to three other spots and caught fish at each. Once we had enough for multiple meals we switched to trolling for big sport fish. While we didnt catch anything trolling but we saw dolphins and sea turtles. The beer and water was cold. The pineapple was sweet. It was a trip we would repeat.

Caught a nice box of fish. Some blackfin, red snapper, trigger fish and a beautiful sailfish. Capt.Kenner was great with my son and had all the snacks and drinks we could want.

We went out and the kids started getting sea sick but we were out there because dad wanted to fish. They brought me and the kids back to shore and kept dad on the water, thank you.

The crew was great. Fishing was a bit slow but they were definitely trying hard. The boat is a bit small and in choppy water it is a bit rough, one of our group members got pretty sea sick because of it. The boat is fine, just giving you a heads up.

Captain Kenneth at Tamarindo Fishing Trips was absolutely incredible! His 15+ years of fishing experience and deep knowledge of the local waters made our charter exciting, smooth, and full of action. Henry and his mate provided a quality fishing experience. The boat and gear worked well all morning. The crew had plenty of lures and bait for both trolling and bottom fishing. We tried trolling first but transitioned to bottom fishing on a deep reef when trolling didn’t produce. We caught a few grouper for dinner. Henry speaks English well so there weren’t any communication issues. It was great way to spend the morning.

Our fishing trip was an absolute success! We had an amazing time on the water and caught plenty of fish, making it an unforgettable experience. The location was perfect, the equipment was top-notch, and the thrill of reeling in one catch after another was unbeatable. Highly recommended for anyone who loves fishing or wants to try it out!

We went fishing with Captain Kenneth. We caught two tuna. We had a great time with the captain and he even made us some amazing sashimi with our catch. We had a fantastic trip!
