Tofino Ocean Adventures 

The experience Brody provided was beyond what we had ever imagined. His love for Tofino paired with his knowledge and dedication to the ocean made our fishing experience a memory we will never forget. Great trip! Brody said the salmon bite may be slow, so we transitioned quickly to coastal jigging and slow trolling, and we got on an amazing top water black bass bite and landed a huge yellow eye rockfish on the troll! Brody knew the waters well and brought positive vibes the whole time. Such a phenomenal experience!

Great experience with Captain Brody. He's a very knowledgeable local guide. We had an amazing time from start to finish. If you are looking for a once in a life time experience, look no further. Brody is the man!

Capt. Brody was absolutely amazing, best fishing trip we have ever done. Got the full Tofino experience. Great equipment and great guiding from start to finish. We took our young kids and he was able to adapt and tailor the trip to include them. We will definitely be booking again.

First of all, the dock was easy to find, parking was easy and Captain Brody was ready for us even though we arrived 15 minutes early both days. Mom uses a cane and had no accessibility issues at all. The store was open and offered us coffee and a clean washroom to use before we headed out to sea. Brody greeted us kindly and I immediately knew that we liked him. Before we headed out he asked if we’d like to drop a crab trap but we declined and chose to wait until day 2. The morning was great. We wanted to target halibut as none of us had ever caught one before. Captain Brody went straight to a spot he had scouted out a few days earlier. It was amazing! We limited out with 4 halibut in an hour and 15 minutes! (This wasn’t expected and I wouldn’t suggest this expectation) From there Captain took us out trolling where my wife hammered a 15lb Spring (again, this too was unexpected this early in the season and we were the only boat to catch a Spring on this particular day) We also hooked into a few smaller lings which was a bonus because we wanted to target lings on day 2. Back to the dock by 1 and Brody cleaned all our fish before we dropped them off to the packer. Day 2 Again we were a bit early and Captain was ready. We dropped a crab trap and headed out for lings. To our amazement we limited out with 12 lings by 10 o’clock! These lings were much bigger than the day one lings. Dad caught a lunker one his 70th birthday! Brody took us out to target a few rock fish and again we limited out with 12 black rock fish in about 30 minutes. At one point all 4 of us were fish on and Captain Brody handled it like a boss! We still had some time left so he took us back to do a troll for Springs. We didn’t get another Spring but really enjoyed the ride. We went and pulled the trap which had a few nice dungees in there. Brody kept them in a live trap for us until we left the next morning. Again he cleaned all our fish and we dropped off the lings to the packer for pick up the next morning. ($2.75 a pound for processing and flash freezing but well worth it knowing your fish is going to make it home in perfect condition) I could say allot more but you’re probably getting tired of reading… lol. Bottom line. It was our greatest 2 days of fishing in our lives. (and we do allot of fishing) Captain Brody is the Man! I highly recommend him!

We had a great first time salmon fishing adventure with the whole family. We got to see some sea otters, river otters and caught more fish than we expected to. The kids had a great time, they smiled ear to ear while holding them fish they reeled in. The 5 of us each brought home a fish or two. Great experience for small and big kids alike!

Captain Brody was very accommodating for a family of four on our rainy day fishing charter from Tofino. The calmer water in the open ocean allowed for a very successful trip of salmon fishing, despite my daughter losing the “lucky lure” on a “big one” in the morning. Captain Brody was patient with the kids and had my son helping with the downrigger, and picking the lucky depths for trolling. Thanks for a great day, even in the rain.

Our captain Brodie was amazing and showed us a great time. We caught our limit of salmon for the day and even some bonus crab. An amazing view and a great way to celebrate my 50th birthday. Highly recommend this captain and top notch equipment. He even through a few herring in the air so I could get some pictures of eagles. This will be an experience I will treasure for years to come.

Had an amazing 4 hour charter with Brody, he’s super knowledgeable about the area and species of fish that we were catching. Would recommend to anyone if they’re interested in fishing or not!

Our experience today with Captain Brody was seamless. Due to inclement weather we had to move our start time from 7am to noon, and Brody was communicative and flexible all morning, offering us multiple options to make sure we didn't lose the opportunity. Once we got on the water, Brody was knowledgeable, good-natured and accommodating of our needs, while still making sure we brought in a haul of fish! We were mostly after dinner and not so concerned about size, and ended up with vermillion rockfish, lingcod, chinook salmon and even some Dungeoness crab...quite the spread. He even managed to find us a grey whale to observe on the way back in to Tofino Harbour, something that had been on our bucket list for a long time. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would highly recommend!
