Gulf Bay Charters run by Captain Jake and First Mate Logan is first class operation. If you want to catch fish, Captain Jake is your man! The boat was awesome and we were on fish the entire charter. We would recommend this charter from novice to expert. See you next year Captain Jake and Logan!

Rick was an absolute beast of a captain. Put us on a lot of fish. If the fish were not biting he didn’t waste time and tried another spot until we found them. Caught our limit for 6 people.

I’m an avid angler and fish all around the country, by fare this was the best charter I’ve been on. Don’t waste your time or money, Captain and mate are 5 star rock stars ⭐️ . We caught over 70 fish in a 4 hr span. The captain moved around to his different honey wholes and look for yourself.

The best fishing experience I have had ever! Jake fishes like I hunt. It was all about racing to the prime locations, catching anything and everything in that spot then off to the next one. With-in 45min of getting on the water, we arrived at the first spot and limited out on red snapper. We caught so many that we were up sizing and throwing the smaller ones back in the water. Then it was off to other locations catching black and white snapper. Of course all these charters say they will bait your hooks, but when you fish with Jake, him and his first mate couldn't keep up with the amount of fish my 4 person family was catching them. Before long we baited ourselves because it was so fun and exciting! Had a great time, great experience and even my wife that dislikes fishing and didn't want to go in the first place said she would do it again. If that doesn't say a lot about Jake and Gulf Bay Charters then I don't know what would. Thanks Jake!

We had a great time with Captain Rick, fought through some rough waters in the early morning, but Rick put us on fish. When the conditions were working against us, he would find us another fishing hole and we’d catechism more. We limited out on red snapper and found more black snapper along with a few other fish types. It was hot, but overall a great day with family and friends. 10/10 recommend these guys for your fishing trips, Captain Rick has an extremely nice boat and he knows the waters well. Logan was awesome as a deckhand and knowledgeable.

Rick and Patrick were great right off the start. Very knowledgeable on the fish species, which was great for us and the kids. The knew where the fish were and put us on them, we reeled in way more than pictured these where the keepers. Conditions were not great, they let us know before hand that the waters would be rough. They even called to update us on waters and worked with us to get us on the water for the best day available of our trip. Very friendly and great with Kids. We will definitely be back, we would highly recommend.

We had an awesome trip and caught about 70 fish. We had a 5 year old, 7 year old, and 13 year old along with the adults and he made it so much fun for the entire group! We have been on many fishing trips in this area and this was the best yet! Can’t wait until next year!

A fantastic trip...been several times but nobody put us on the fish like our guides did. They were also great with the kids, made it easy for them...but also set up the adult fishing with a challenge. Everything was taken care of...and the other groups that came in were jealous of our take.. Won't look anywhere else going forward. Great guides, great boat and a perfect day! Limits, Limits, Limits!
