Guanacaste Fly Fishing 

Excellent experience going down the river. The captain was very patient getting me un hooked from branches. He coached me into getting my first ever fish on a fly rod. My friend caught several fish as I had several misses. We also saw multiple varieties of birds, iguanas, a couple crocodiles and howler monkeys. A great trip all around.

Incredible trip. Fished in a beautiful area, no one else around. Had such fun with the snappers on fly. And then we found the Rooster Fish. These have to be the most beautiful fish in the world. What I loved was Felipe’s enthusiasm, his love of fly fishing, his knowledge of the water, the fish and his incredible spotting abilities. A great day out...would highly recommend this trip.

The water wasn’t perfect for us but we were able to catch several and miss A lot more than we actually hooked. Missed a big one that the captain said was a giant...will think about that one for a long time. Over all the trip was amazing and you end up seeing a lot of wildlife as well, so even if you don’t catch a lot of fish the scenery alone is worth the money! Countless species of birds, alligators, monkeys and iguanas everywhere. Would highly recommend booking a trip with these guys.

Had an amazing day on the river The trip was organised really well from the moment we were picked up from our hotel Not only did we catch fish we saw lots of wildlife, monkeys iguanas, crocodiles and some lovely ospreys as well as other birds The river was calm with some rapids that gave the trip a bit of excitement, the scenery was beautiful Our guide worked really hard and we landed the fish 🎣 Well worth the money Thank you for a great trip

We had a great day fishing on Rio Corobicic for Machaca. Great learning experience! Our guide Jose and his son Joseph were experienced guides and helped us catch these fast aggressive fish. Great scenery, too!

We loved the experience on the river--saw lots of birds and wild life. Perfect. The fish bit but did not quite take the hook, but they are there for sure, just kind of fast and wily. It was amazing to float down this beautiful river. Everyone did exactly wha they said they would do. They were friendly and low key. That's Costa Rica. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone who loves fishing, wildlife and just being in an extraordinary place.

A day on the river with a fantastic guide, Jose. He was very patient while I learned the quick biting Machaca. We had the entire river to ourselves. In addition, we had a few rapids and a lot of wildlife along the way.
