La Bandida Sport Fishing 

I want to start off by saying PV is 100% safe the news has made a big deal about a few burned cars and Oxos it is total safe. We had a great day, I told Captain Monty I wanted to catch Rooster fish and that is exactly what happened. After catching some fish we went and ate at a sandy beach restaurant where they cooked a fish we caught and made sashimi with it as well. Every one knew monty and treated us like royalty. Captain Monty then took us to a snorkeling spot and we saw thousands of fish including two spoted eagle rays that stayed around for a few minutes so we could enjoy how beautiful they were. This is our second trip with captain Monty so dont hesitate to book a trip. I know I will be going out with him again.

The boat was extremely clean, a nice ride and comfortable to fish in. The captin and crew put us on Yellow fin tuna that make your arms burn. We were the only boat catching fish and they were nice sized 70lbs. We saw a bunch of whales, dolphins and a ton of birds that the captin would point out and knew the names of.

Good times fishing with Monte and Rodrigo. Caught enough Jacks trolling in Bay to take back for an excellent lunch at resort. great morning on the water.

Amazing experience! Senor Monte was very responsive to our calls and welcoming when we arrived. Captain Carlos and the first mate Victor made the experience fun and memorable. We caught 9 barracuda, 1 caballito, and 1 boca dulce. They constantly changed bait and took us to different areas to fish. To top off the experience Captain Carlos preped two barracudas into sushi for a delicious meal! 😋 price is extremely reasonable and the boat is very clean and in great condition. Already planning our second trip out there.

If you're ever in Puerto Vallarta and want to go fishing, you've got to try Monte Hernandez. He is very friendly, speaks both Spanish and English. Has cold drinks and music on board. He even gave us extra time fishing since we weren't catching anything. At the last minute I snagged myself a huge Amberjack. Birthday wish came through!😊 😊

Captain Monte is a kind and welcoming host who made our morning fishing trip an enjoyable one. His many years of experience is evident and he made me and my family (all newbies to ocean fishing) feel comfortable with the experience. I would highly recommend fishing with Captain Monte!

Captain monte was friendly and professional. Great experience for me and my son. I can recommend him for other small groups and may book again if we’re back. He showed us pictures of his larger new boat in production so he should be able to accommodate larger parties soon.

Had a nice day out on the water with Monte and his first mate. They were both super friendly and tried their hardest to get us some fish!

We booked a 10 hour trip. But apparently we didn’t go far enough to catch fish. Not sure what else I could’ve done but would’ve appreciated going further out to where the fish were. Great captain great boat great deck hand. Maybe just a bad decision for that day. If you wanna fish Puerto Vallarta, you gotta go way way out.
