Turer med Discover Alaskan Adventures er flotte for barn, så hele familien kan bli med og koble av for dagen! Husk å spørre om redningsvester i barnestørrelse er tilgjengelige, ellers bør du ta med dine egne. Og, det er alltid lurt å ta med snacks slik at ingen blir irritable på tom mage!
Du er hjertelig velkommen om bord på en av våre 28' aluminiumsfiskebåter med plass til 6 passasjerer. Den har downriggere og alt du trenger for en produktiv dag på vannet. Det er et bærbart toalett i RV-stil om bord for din bekvemmelighet.
Stenger, hjul og fiskeutstyr er dekket av fisketuren, samt sluk og agn.
Før du går om bord, må du kjøpe en lokal fiskerlisens for alle i gruppen din. Denne informasjonen er vanligvis tilgjengelig på nett, eller du kan spørre kapteinen. Noen arter kan være fredet eller kreve spesiell tillatelse, så sørg for at du vet hva du kan forvente.
Det er alltid lurt å ta med hatt, solbriller, vann på flaske og solkrem (ikke spray). Hvis du ønsker å ta med andre drikker, er det bare å spørre. Alkohol er tillatt i moderate mengder, men du bør unngå brennevin samt glassflasker.

Equipment and boat were in excellent condition, guys were extremely professional, and their skill high level! It was a highlight of our Alaska vacation and will be recommending Chris and the crew to anyone who wants to try halibut fishing. Joey and Chris were a wealth of facts and information that made it fun! They processed our fish right there (for a small fee) which made taking our fish with us easy peasy! We’ll be back for sure! Thanks guys!

They were funny and extremely helpful with directing everybody on what to do, what to look for, how fast to reel, and the different kinds of creatures we caught that we weren’t going for! They did very well on finding a great spot for the fish and everybody got great sizes and their limit! Would very much recommend!

Halibut trip den May 11, 2025 • 2 voksneHad a great trip catching halibut and cod. Captain Chris put us on the fish catching our halibut limit and plenty of cod. Although the water was choppy in the morning, we had a great time out in the water. Afterwards, the fish were filleted by the crew, vacuum sealed and provided to us, with an option to ship it out. Would do this same fishing trip in the future.

Additionally, they’ll process and freeze your fish for a cheaper rate than the processing facility in Homer. Highly recommend!

3/4 dagstur – Full tidevannsyklus den August 22, 2023 • 2 voksneThe seas were calm and lake like. Sun came out later. Fishing started out slow with lots of sharks on the lines but improved over time. Captain and crew were extremely nice, communicative, and helpful…seeing that everyone had a good time and got their limit. One good sized fish caught and the rest ranged a little over and under regulation size. We highly recommend this company for halibut fishing. Equipment (especially reels) seemed a little outdated but did the job in the end.
