Frisky Reds 

It was our first time chartering a boat in Galveston and our group didn't really know what to expect. Captain Richard was very helpful answering all of our questions. He knows the water well and took us to some great fishing spots on the 6 hour tour. His first mate Dalton taught us a lot about fishing in Galveston and he worked hard to keep our lines in the water. Our group had a wonderful experience. We hope to fish with the crew again in the future.

Frisky Reds was great our Captain Richard and his deck hand Sam were more than amazing very patient and helpful with my 2 boys granted didnt catch any big one but was able to manage to catch a sting ray and a ton of bait fish while waiting my family had a blast will definitely be booking again more that likely will do the longer off shore but all in all fantastic.

Although the fishing itself wasn't great due to seasonal timing, the crew was fantastic. Steve and Chris were very engaging and we learned a lot about the various fish and the optimal seasons to fish for each. They also took us out on fairly short notice, 3 days, when other charters cancelled the booking with no explanation. Looking forward to a longer offshore excursion in the future with these guys.

We had a fantastic time on the Frisky Reds pm 6-hour trip. Brandon and Bere went above and beyond to show our family a great time. The kids loved it. The boat was comfy and kids all had a brief nap with the soothing rocking of the boat. As fishing goes sometimes, it started off slow. Brandon knew many great spots and we found the fish! Great fish fry the following day. Thanks Frisky Reds, we hope we can find time to book again!

Went fishing with 2 adults and 4 tweens and teens. Great trip. Captain and first mate were very friendly and helpful, especially with the younger kids. We caught 7 sharks and the kids loved it! Not many other big fish, but caught a lot of catfish. I wish we had moved around a bit, basically we just went to one place and bottom fished there for 5 hours. But I am not an expert, so maybe that was the right call. Still a great trip and everyone had fun. Would fish with them again. Nice cool cabin too if you need to get out of the sun and clean restroom on boat for girls.

Thanks for the great service and helping create life long family memories as it was my many of everyone’s first time sea fishing and we caught sharks. How cool is that! We plan to make this an annual family tradition.

We had a really good time with Frisky Reds. From the moment we got to the fishing spot the Red Snapper was biting immediately. It was a non-stop action every time we were in the water. The captain and mate did an excellent job making sure we had what we needed. Helping us unhook and measure the fish and even getting bait back on our hooks. In some cases we had to call on some help to reel in some big fish since some of us weren't extremely experienced. It was a deep sea trip and I wasn't expecting a 2.5 hour boat ride each way but we did limit out on snapper and accomplished what we set out to do. The boats AC and bathroom were really nice to have. There was some initial issues with some of the gear but it was remedied and everyone got their rod/reel. All in all it was a great experience and had a good time.

The trip was perfect! The boat was amazing, AC if you got a little to hot, fully functional restroom, and all the ice cold water you could drink! We caught 23 keepers, but we were catching fish the entire 6hr trip. Highly recommend,Captain Steve and deck hand Chris were friendly and very knowledgeable of everything coming on the boat and made sure everyone was catching and enjoying themselves. We will definitely be booking with Frisky Reds and Steve again! Thanks again

Everything was amazing on this trip. Of course it’s always better when you catch fish and we sure did. Thanks to the awesome crew and the fantastic boat. We were all able to catch plenty of fish. Boat was amazing condition. The crew are super experienced and helpful. Two of us are visually impaired and one was totally blind and the crew was absolutely amazing with us. I can’t wait to book it again and come back in a couple of months.
