Homer Fishing Adventures – Black Pearl 

Such a great trip!! My Wife Morgan and I booked a last minute trip with Forrest’s Homer Fishing Adventures for our stay in Alaska. We were accompanied by Ben and Ethan. What a breath of fresh air these two young fishermen were from previous tropical charters! Great conversation and they knew the waters! They put us on the Hallibut right away! We had our limit of over and unders before 9 am and were off for kings. Ended up catching our limit of those and a bonus cod. I can’t recommend this charter service enough!!

My review: This was the best fishing i have ever done in Alaska! I have been on 3 different charters before and only caught one small halibut, but this time we decided to go with Captain Marcus, and we all had full bags of fish with our limit. Thank you Captain for unforgettable experience! I am happy, wife is happy. If in the next summer we still be here in Alaska, we will only go with CPT Marcus and his Black Pearl! Capt. Marcus was awesome and know where to go and how to get us on the fish. Within the 1st 10 minutes of fishing I caught the biggest Halibut and checked it off my bucket list. We caught 13 or 14 halibut can't remember exactly because we were having so much fun. We were doubled up multiple times and limited out on our Halibut and Rock fish also caught some bonus cod and lost a king. Highly recommend!!!

This charter was top notch! Captain Marcus and deck hand Riley did a great job. The boat and equipment were great. You could tell Captain Marcus loves what he is doing. He is easy to make conversation with and enthusiastic about putting you on fish and making your overall experience fantastic. I will be booking this charter again. Marcus is super professional and made our trip an unforgetable memory

We went out on a private charter with Captain Marcus and deck hand Riley. They both were absolutely phenomenal. We hit our fishing limits ans the experience was absolutely amazing and we have already started referring friends and family. Our ages ranged from 17 to 80 and everyone was able to catch and have an amazing time. 

My wife, three kids (14, 13, 11) and I had an amazing fishing experince with Capt Marcus and first hand Riley! We booked an 8-hr Halibut and Rockfish charter and hit our limits on both, along with catching other interesting fish. Amazing experience for all of us! Will definitely book with them again the next time we are in Homer!!

First fishing experience out of Homer didn’t disappoint. On the fish right away with multiple poles down as soon as the boat stopped and everyone hit their quotas on multiple species. Marcus and Riley were excellent on the boat. Very well prepared, super helpful and extremely patient.

Over 90 lbs of cleaned fish to ship home. 8 Halibit and 23 cod Boat state of the art Excelent equipment. Experienced captain Energetic crew The fish had no ware to hide Families and avid fisherman alike will enjoy the experience remember to dress warm and before you go get your licenses

Forrest and Mikey were awesome guides the entire time. Friendly, helpful and professional. We caught our limit for Halibut and a few salmon and rock fish. Had such a great time and would recommend this for everyone. The Black Pearl was a great vessel.

We did two trips on the Black Pearl, had a great time both days. Ended up with multiple species of fish both trips. The crew is super helpful, informative and friendly. I highly recommend them for your Homer fishing adventure.
