Ta så mange fiskearter av din personlige ønskeliste som mulig. Bunnfiske etter Snappere og annen smakfull fisk, eller prøv trolling etter Makrell, Bonito og andre raske arter, eller gjør en pakke med begge fiskestilene!
Double Time Charters tar deg ut om bord i en 25' World Cat kraftkatamaran. Dette er en stillegående og stabil fiskebåt med to 150 HK Yamaha 4-takts påhengsmotorer. Båten er utstyrt med navigasjons- og fiskesonarelektronikk, samt annet profesjonelt tilbehør. Det er et Cobia-tårn med full kontroll, en isbox for fangsten og en kjøler for drikke, samt en toalettbøtte for damene om bord. Alle om bord!
Turene inkluderer kvalitetsutstyr, is, fiskekort, samt rensing og pakking av fisk. Du må ta med egne drikker, snacks, passende klær og kamera.

He took that into consideration and knew just how to address it. The first few spots we tried were taken over by trigger fish. Then we struck gold... Over 30 red vermillion snappers! We ate well that evening. Thanks again Captain Tim for your patience...

5-timers tur den May 30, 2022 • 5 voksneMost of the reviews you’ll read on here will become repetitive and exaggerated about successful hauls but let me tell you my experience with Captain Tim. All but one of our 5 man group had prior experience with a fishing guide. I had asked Captain Tim the day before to put these guys on fish and not come home empty handed. We had every intention to bring back the gulf’s finest delicacies. Our 5 hour trip did not disappoint! Captain Tim put us on fish the entirety of the time. His method of bottom fishing brought in endless red snappers and vermillion snappers. We went from run to another. He made sure that we didn’t waste time at a location if it didn’t yield fish. We were constantly on the hunt. Someone was always reeling in a fish or busy baiting hooks. Captain Tim is very methodical and meticulous in his search for fish. Years of notes and coordinates are scribbled on the dash in pencil. His captains log is filled with notes from prior trips. This man is tenured. He has that instinct for the water like hunters have in the woods. Every sound, flash of light, and radar blip, Captain Tim investigated and made note. That skill comes with years of experience. He mentioned that we’ll catch fish but it’s the ones worth keeping is the issue. Lucky for us, there was no issue. We caught what we were looking for. Our final haul was 28 fish but there were countless more released. For the 5 guys who have never fished the gulf, Captain Tim made it memorable and gave us a reason to come back. I can promise you we’re having Captain Tim as our guide.

The only downside to our trip was that was oldest son got seasick, but that’s just the chance you take. I would highly recommend booking with Double Time Charters and Captain Tim Adams.

Really found a great balance of letting us do some of the work (baiting hooks and taking off fish) when we wanted to and taking care of all the other tasks to maximize our chances to catch fish. Will definitely be booking with him again.

He is very personable and has an expert level of knowledge. The fishing trip was very much an educational experience. We caught a good haul of many different species. There are many choices out there to go fishing with, but Double Time won’t disappoint!

He is extremely knowledgeable and knows how to find the fishing experience that you are looking for. To top it off, he’s a really nice guy too. I was very impressed by how he really tries to get to know his customers during the trip. This was truly a memorable experience for us and it was mostly because of Cpt Tim. We will definitely be back.

Has intimate knowledge of local wrecks due to him being a diver. A great day for me my brother and my son a day we won’t forget. Thank you captain Tim!

6-timers tur den August 19, 2021 • 4 voksneGreat day on the gulf with Double Time. Capt. Tim did a great job putting us on the fish. We kept 30 and released about the same. From Red, White, and Vermillion Snapper, triggerfish, Spanish mackerel, Mahi and Amberjack we caught a great variety of species. Capt knew I wanted to get a Mahi on the boat, he listened to the radio chatter and put us on them for a bonus. Very fun trip and he was great with our teenagers. Would book another trip with Tim.

Tim was very personable and and patient with my kids. He did a great job putting us on fish. Sharks stole a few from us but it was also fun to try and get them in. I would definitely recommend the Double Time and will use Tim again next time I’m in Destin. Thanks Tim.

Captain Tim was very upfront with us when we had bad weather the day of our fishing charter. Not only did we have storms, but the wind and gulf waters were too rough for deep sea fishing. Even though other charters had canceled for the day, he was willing to take us trolling near the shore and play it by ear. We ended up trolling for about 3 hours (we booked a 5 hour trip) and at that point Captain Tim said that the weather has cleared enough to try deep sea fishing. Unfortunately, 2 out of 4 in our group had already become sea sick due to our inexperience with being on boats and the rough waters. After a few minutes of debating, we decided to call it a day. We ended up going home with 18 spanish mackerel which Captain Tim fileted, de-boned and de-veined on the dock. Our count would be 20 but we lost 2 of them to a couple of sneaky dolphins. Overall we had an amazing first time fishing with Captain Tim- he taught us to drop and set the lure and watch the rod for a bite. He is incredibly knowledgeable about all things fish and water and went above and beyond to answer our questions and teach us how to fish. By the end of those 3 hours, we were fishing on our own even though we had little to NO prior fishing experience. We truly enjoyed our adventure even though it wasn't what we expected. We'll definitely be back next year!
Captain Tim took our crew of 6 out for a 5 hour trip. With live bait not being available to buy, our first task was to head offshore a short distance to catch our live bait fish. While it took a while, we all had fun taking our turns at jigging off the bottom and reeled in enough to then head out to deeper water. While we started off slow and struggled to avoid sharks, we finally found a couple of good spots. Tim stayed out longer than planned to make sure everyone in our group reeled in at least one nice sized fish. It was a great trip overall and we really appreciated the extra time and effort from Captain Tim to make our trip a success. This was our second trip with Double Time Charters and we would highly recommend them for a great fishing experience.
