Billfish 

Captain Billy and his crew showed true teamwork and professionalism throughout the entire trip. You can clearly see how well-coordinated and experienced they are — everything was handled smoothly and confidently. We were definitely not left without a catch, and the highlight of the day was landing a 40 kg sailfish — an incredible experience and pure adrenaline. It was a fantastic day on the water from start to finish. Highly recommended.

so decided to take the plunge and go marlin hunting. Have tried several times and even though slightly out of season here. guess what i did it. Capt billy is brilliant and jerome and king the crew were fantastic. Tackle is first class. knowledge exceptional and takes time to explain the process. Boat very comfy and had space for my wife to relax and a lovley clean toilet. So all in all a brilliant day topped off by seeing dolphins and Sperm whales

A great day out. Billy has a huge amount of experience and is a very nice knowledgable captain. You could see all the hits on his depth charts and knew exactly where to fish. Jerome was constantly monitoring the lines. Changing up lures when needed. With a good mix of large and small lures out to maximise our chances. 5-7 lines out at any point! They really put a lot of effort into getting me a fish! We had 2 skipjack on towards the end. So got the rush of the reel going off and hauling the strong tuna’s in. Billy and Jerome have over 20+ years experience. More like 30+ years and I would be fishing with them again at my next possible opportunity when back in Mauritius. 2 very nice & knowledgeable guys to fish with! Highly recommend to anyone!

We had the chance to spend 2 full days fishing on the Billfish. Its was a famous choice!!! I did some big game around the world but Billy and Jerome belong to the benchmark. We always had the feeling to be in good hands of a very kind and professional crew - thanks to both for that incredible experience and the time we could spend with you. We can only recommend to everyone coming to Mauritius looking for big game ... book with Billy and Jerome. We for sure will do if we come back. Thanks to the skill of Jarome I caught my first Blue Marlin on my first trip fishing for Marlin. Jerome and Ding did a fantastic job looking after me and my wife. I hope to be booking again in October. The Billfish is a comfortable boat to fish and they have all the tackle you need I am looking forward to fishing again with the great crew on the Billfish. The very friendly captain Billy picked us up from our hotel beach at JW right on time. Boat was clean and well equipped with 2 other very experienced crew. Started trolling and got our first wahoo in less then 15 mins in ! We booked a whole day trip and ended with 11 catch in total ! ! All at least more than 15 lbs each ! Fishes were kept in chiller. I got to fly my drone on the boat as well with the Brabant mountain as the back drop ! Ended the day with Billy showing us where the underwater waterfall is on a smaller motorboat and dropped us off right in front of our hotel . One of the best experiences in our 20 years of travel …

My family went on a 6 hour trip last week (June 2023) during our vacation in Mauritius. The captain was very communicative before the trip - including setting expectations since we sought a booking during the low/offseason for fishing around Mauritius. I appreciate when people do such things. I told him I understood and I wanted to go anyways because, as has been said, the worst day of fishing is better than the best day in the office. Shortly before our scheduled day the captain messaged me and suggested rescheduling by a few days since the weather forecast showed the seas being a bit choppy. Again, I appreciate when people do such things. On the day of the trip we met the crew and headed out to sea. We caught a few skipjack tuna and the blue marlin in the picture - 115 kgs! The biggest fish I've ever caught. He put up a good fight, too, and took over 20 minutes to bring in. All the crew was quite surprised since we are not in marlin season. All I know is we had a great time, the crew was wonderful, and if we come to Mauritius again I'd love to go out once more with them.

Many thanks to Billfish and the great guys on the boat! We booked the 4-hour tour in the morning, and I was hoping to catch the first big one! It was all worth it, and the guys on the boat were great and supported us. We'll be back next time we're in Mauritius! Thank you so much!

Captain Billy was communicative and accommodating. We asked to go for yellow fin tuna, which we weren’t able to come across, but it was clear he was trying to find us the tuna and while on the hunt we were able to bring in a great haul of skip jack and wahoo. Billy and his team also kept the boat incredibly clean, even as we were bringing fish in. It was a great boat with plenty of space and a good restroom available. All in all a great trip.
