Riviera Maya Sport Fishing 🎣 

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely epic day on the water with these guys! From start to finish, they were professional, knowledgeable, and made sure we had an unforgettable experience. They worked nonstop to put us on fish, shared great tips, and kept the vibes high all day. The highlight was landing a huge grouper—an absolute beast and a moment we’ll be talking about for a long time. You can tell these guys truly love what they do and take pride in making sure their guests have an amazing time. Whether you’re new to fishing or a seasoned angler, this is the crew you want. Highly recommend and we will 100% be back for another trip!

This fishing charter was incredible! Pancho and Juan were amazing guides and we were truly impressed with how well everything went. The boat was very clean and even after fish were caught, was proceeded to be cleaned by Juan. Our driver of the boat, Pancho, helped direct the way to some amazing fish while Juan did an excellent job tying rigs and tossing out the baits. The two were also engaged in conversation with us for quite a lot of the trip. Juan very kindly offered my son some water while he fought his Marlin and they were on the sidelines the whole time to ensure that landing the fish was the priority! With this outstanding charter, it’s very easy to say that this was one of the best charters we have ever been on. My son is incredibly thankful to have the opportunity to catch such large fish. He’s beyond grateful (and greatly exhausted at the end of the day) to of had the chance for redemption after one of the charters he went on didn’t go to plan. We certainly would recommend this charter to anyone. Thank you Pancho and Juan!

Despite booking late Capt Luis was able to get a half day charter with Capt Chakis and mate Guillermo on Alondra III. Easy to find in the center of Playa del Carmen- and bathrooms available. Weather was great, with only moderate swells, and we were off. Unlike some other boats we’ve been on Capt Chakis respected our request to do bottom and reef fishing, rather than trolling. It was a short trip to the first location, and we had lines in the water in less than 30 minutes. First couple of locations were slow, the crew was active in moving to different spots and we shifted from ‘fishing’ to ‘catching’. At times we had fish on 3 rods at once, and landed many of them. Triggerfish and other reef types have a very delicate bite, and with some helpful assistance from the team we caught on to the telltale signs. We also had company, as a pelican decided to park on the bow and watch- rewarded with the occasional fish. With our arms getting tired we called it a day after 3 hours or so and headed back to shore. Capt Chakis offered to make us ceviche, and who could resist that? Fresh triggerfish ceviche, cold cervezas, and some great folks to share it with. All in all, an excellent day. Highly recommended.

We had our family of four, two adults and two children, enjoy this incredible full day experience. The crew was very attentive to our needs and modified our trip as requested throughout the day. The equipment and boat was top-notch and well maintained. We enjoyed bottom fishing, jigging, exploring cenotes, ceviche picnic on a private beach, snorkeling with sea turtles, and trolling our way back to dock. Upon returning, the crew hooked us up with a restaurant steps away where our days catch was cooked with all the sides one could imagine. I would definitely recommend, and will be booking again next time we are in Mexico.

We booked the Alondra III and what an amazing experience!!!! While sitting in a local bar on 5th Ave a local from the area recommended Luis Gonzalez as a fishing guide. Luis had great communication and responded quickly to my text messages. I was able to book a 6 hour trip on very short notice. When arriving at the boat we were warmly welcomed aboard by Captain Chakis and his deck hand Daniel. During our time on the water we tried both deep and shallow water fishing. The day started out slow but that is to be expected in November. We passed many other boats on the water and all of them had no luck catching anything. We caught three nice Barracudas before lunch. Captain Chakis beached the boat in a beautiful cove and allowed to swim, snorkel, hike to a cenote and even made us fresh ceiveche with the barracuda. On the way back in Captain Chakis was very confident we would catch another big fish. A half hour before the end of the trip Daniel got me hooked on a monster sail fish. If you’re looking to go out fishing and have a time of your life, I highly recommend Alondra III and all the staff.

I promised my son in law we'd go fishing. I booked the night before and instant response. We were greeted right away, were in the water catching fish within minutes. We caught snapper, devil fish, banana fish, foxy, trigger, puffer, Spanish mackerel and got lucky to land a barracuda. The current was dead but captain Luis knew how to keep finding the spots. Cap Luis is very helpful and shows you how to fish even if you're a rookie.

Getting to location early allowed easy parking nearby. All captains are very helpful around and quickly connected us with our captain.We really wanted to fish for game fish but Luis warned us it would be slow going for game fish. He mixed it up for us with some bottom fishing then some trolling and finally a bit of bottom fishing to finish out the day. Very friendly and communicative, willing to do what we asked for. I took my kids on this trip and we had a blast. The captain was very knowledgeable and we caught a ton of fish while other boats around us weren’t catching anything. We had a great experience and will plan to book again on our next trip to Playa!

Great day! Chaquis and Daniel took great care of us. Started bottom fishing and quickly switched to trolling when they spotted a mahi, once lines were drop we hooked two mahis within 10 seconds!
