Reef Wrecker Fishing Charters 

We had a great time fishing with this charter. The captain tooks to all the locations with plenty of fish. We kept catching big fish. Looking forward to fishing with this charter next time.

The captain was super friendly and upgraded us to an offshore trip after asking if we would be interested. We were, of course! He took our family out and put us on some starter fish to get us started catching fish. My wife hooked hers before I even got mine in the water. We caught quite a few of these small fish to wet our appetite and then he drove us to a different spot to hit some red snapper. Let’s just say, this was awesome! My son totally outclassed me and caught a couple monsters, a good midsized and some small ones. And the small ones were probably in the 8-10lb range. We also spotted a sunfish basking in the water so the captain brought us over to photograph it and then we went back to fishing. He knows the waters and knows where the fish are! I’d happily recommend him and Reef Wreckers any time!

We all had a great time aboard the Reef Wrecker with Captain John! He was great with our two younger children and happily answered their many questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our time aboard and were able to pull in some great fish. The captain is very knowledgeable about the area and got us on fish pretty quickly. Add to that, he’s just a genuinely nice guy and very easy to talk to, making us all feel welcome. We will definitely be booking with him again on our next trip to the area!

We had a great Father’s Day trip. The captain was friendly and fun and very knowledgeable. He took us to do two different spots, and we were able to catch quite a few fish very easily. He took us to a second spot where we were catch some sharks.

Excellent experience with Captain John! We went shark fishing and he took us out behind a shrimp boat! We caught two sharks that we kept for eating and everyone else got a lot of bites and got them close to the boat! One of our group members got a Tarpon on the line which Captain a John said was a really cool once in a lifetime type catch. Super exciting and even though it let go at the boat we all had a great time. Captain John definitely knows what he is doing and is a very personable and fun guide. If you want a great experience hit him up!

Almost a year ago, we had the incredible opportunity to go out fishing with Captain JJ! My husband and I wanted to give our son (12), who loves fish, the Deep Sea Fishing Experience. What we got was so much more than we ever could have expected. You see, our son has a few neurological deficits, when we booked we were up front and said we didn't even know if we would last the whole trip. We were set up with what was said to be "The Perfect Captain!" On the morning of our fishing trip, we met him. Within 20 minutes, we knew that he was the Perfect fit for us. That day we went out with 4 adults and our son. JJ made sure to assist all of us. He put us on the fish, educated and entertained us. His main focus though, was on Chase from the start. He walked him through every aspect of fishing. His excitement over Chase's excitement, is rare. His patience with Chase was endless. Captain JJ is one of the most Genuine humans that we have ever had enter our lives. His Love for Fishing is truly his Passion and it shines through in everything he does. We enjoyed our trip so much that we will be joining the Captain for a 6 hour trip, the first week in May! Chase has been counting down for months to go see his "Best Friend!" If you're considering booking a fishing trip, you would be lucky to head out to Sea on the Reef Wrecker with Captain JJ.

Captain John was great. He put us all n the sharks quick-then the storms came. He moved us to another location and the fish kept coming. He was amazing with my sons and made for a great day of fishing. I would definitely recommend booking him!

I do a lot of charters but Capt. John is one of the finest guides I have experienced. Smart, local knowledge, knew everyone on the water and lots and lots of fish! Grunts to Hammerheads. What a blast. Coming back in 2 weeks for another trip. I have never repeated guides, but I have found my New Smyrna Beach Florida guide!! See you soon Capt. John!

I booked Captain John for 8 hours as part of a birthday surprise for my husband and a few close friends. They not only caught a variety of fish and shark, they had a blast doing it and Captain John and his knowledgeable insights and connections helped make this birthday fishing trip a huge success. He is definitely on our list to book again!

Captain John was amazing. We caught 7 sharks in our short three hour trip. If we come back to Daytona, we will definitely be booking with Captain John again.
