Recommend Cpt. Tim and Mike 100%. We were visiting at the tail end of winter and didn't have high expectations for particularly productive fishing but wanted to get out on the water during our visit regardless. So glad we did! The mahi were biting and we ended up with 5, including one around 25 pounds. Along the way, we saw whales and porpoises, too. Cpt. Tim and Mike are super personable and focused on providing a great experience. Friendly, full of advice, and just as excited for a good day of fishing as we were. The boat was extremely comfortable as well, with plenty of space to relax as well as fish.

Great trip, Captain Chris and David were terrific! Bait was finicky but crew worked hard to catch enough to allow us both live bait fishing at agitators and lure fishing—and both were successful. Full day of fishing with plenty of action, landing 14- Mahi mahi, 4-Tuna, and a 500lb Blue Marlin boated and turned loose for someone else’s adventure. Hula is a beautiful boat inside and out making for a great day on the water. When back in HI we will be back with Ke Nui Charters

Chris and Dave were great. They took the time to get to know us, keep us up to speed on the plan. Gave us great dirctiins so we could land the fish. also made sure we didn’t miss the views of the whales and dolphines. the boat was roomy and even with some huge waves, we were able to ride comfortably. truely enjoyable experience.

book this one - the captain and crew are awesome. I normally dont write reviews - but in this case they really a deserve a good review and recommendation - we caught fish two mahi-mahis a 30 lb great with kids - the captain even contacted us to make sure we were ok after the flood - amazing!!

Had a great day fishing with Captain Chris and Dave. The guys worked their tails off. We caught Mahi mahi and Tuna. The boat is big and comfortable.

Our group of six all had wonderful hookups (multiple) on great quality fish. I recommend the 10-hour trip, gives a chance to fish several areas for multiple species off the North Shore. Capt. Chris had a passion for his craft, he went above and beyond to ensure everyone had an enjoyable trip, not only did we catch fish, he taught the less experienced on the boat proper techniques for landing big fish. The Hula is a very comfortable and spacious boat, plenty of places to sit and/or even catch a nap in the air conditioned cabin. I highly recommend Ke Nui Charters, LLC, the Hula and her crew, we will book from them again.

Captain Tim and mate Dave are nothing but first class. I have fished all over the US from the Carolina’s to the Florida keys and Captain Tim is the best, no one else is even close. He went above and beyond in getting fish in the boat and even helped get a local restaurant to cook some for us. His local knowledge and love for fishing is top notch. His boat is pristine in condition, very comfortable and capable. It is a special boat that is worth the price with an amazing crew. If you fish in Oahu this is the boat and crew. Flew in for a destination wedding and HAD to find a fishing charter. Captain Tim and the rest of the crew were amazing. He was in constant communication with me from booking to the start of the trip The boat was gorgeous! As someone who fishes a lot and often gets skunked, I know catching fish is not guaranteed. That's why they call if fishing and not catching fish. Despite the harsh water conditions, the crew worked extra hard to get us on some fish and took care of most the the folks that had gotten seasick. It wasn't easy but we lost a big one and finally hooked onto a Mahi. Originally a half day trip, the crew even stayed an extra 2 hours to try to get us on more fish. Fish was filleted perfectly and took it back to make fresh Mahi Poke! Thank you! I can't wait to come back and catch that trophy Marlin with this boat and crew!
