Inspired Fishing Charters 

Had an awesome half day charter with Captain Skylar. Ended up with a “5 fish slam” or so I’ve been told. We caught baby snapper, flounder, snook, a sea trout, and a massive red fish. Captain was very knowledgeable of local waters and fishing techniques. If we’re weren’t getting hits he would switch up the bait/tackle or move us to a new area. Equipment was great, he had plenty of fresh bait, and helped us cast out to better spots if need be. While our main goal was fishing we also saw lots of nature while we out and about. Tons of clear water and mangroves were you can literally see the fish we were trying to catch. Tons of local seabirds (though some ended up being a nuisance) but we also caught a glimpse of 2 young bald eagles. And when we saw a pod of dolphins we took a quick detour for some photos and video. Overall it was a fantastic day and want to thank Captain Skylar again for a great experience. Would book again and recommend to friends and family in town.

Best fishing trip I’ve ever been on! Our first fish was a massive 35 ft snook! From there we caught so many different species, Spanish mackerel, Redfish, Grouper, Ladyfish and sheepshead. We all 4 caught multiple fish. The guide, Skylar, was incredible. He was so chill and down to earth. He never got frustrated with us, he was always talking to us and having a good time. We truly felt welcome on his boat. He knows a lot about fishing and wasn’t shy about giving us some pointers. He lets you cast and reel them in on your own, never getting frustrated if you let one off the hook. If you’re looking for an incredible trip with no pressure from the guide, then this is it! I’d book with him over and over again.

just now NEW Skylar is an A+ captain! He set up a perfect day fishing even with weather not cooperating. We had lunch on the water at The Warhf. Highly recommend booking a trip with him.

We had a blast with captain Skylar. He is very knowledgeable. He was very helpful. We had 4 people in family. He was always there to take care of every one. We caught some Snooks, grouper ,sheepshead and snappers, The Snook was huge and she kept up good fight. 8 pounds, beautiful fish. We let her go and will come back to catch her again next time. Captian Skylar was amazing with the kids. He put us on some awesome snook, trout, and red fish. I asked that we target some larger fish for the kids since they had only ever targeted smaller ones and he really came through. The kids said he was the best captain ever. I have to admit I was worried about how well he’d handle the kids since he was a younger guy, but he was absolutely amazing. You gotta fish with Skylar.

Skyler took my 15 and 20 yr old grandchildren out fishing. They really enjoyed the experience. Said he was so easy to talk with, a big thing for a teenager. Caught a lot of snapper and Joe had a great story to tell about the dolphin that surfaced and snatched his snapper off his line. Heartily recommend Skyler to anyone taking children out fishing.

Highly recommend captain Skyler. We were on fish right from the start. We had a great day catching trout, snook, snapper and some smaller grouper. We got to see dolphins, manatees, and lots of birds during our trip. I have been on many fishing over the years all over and this was as great as any. 6 stars if I could.

We had a blast! Great day of fishing with our awesome captain. We were on the fish from the first cast and stayed on em. Took a risk to go after some Reds late in the day which payed off with the biggest fish of the day! Gear and amenities were spot on and we couldn't have picked a better captain for our adventure!

This was the second trip we have taken with Captain Skylar. Both trips were great last year we fished inland in June for snook and redfish. This year we went to some open water and had a great time catching jack, mackerel and even a shark. Between the three of us we probably landed 25 fish and had a great day.

Do yourself a favor and if you are trying to decide which captain and boat to hire go ahead and book Cap. Skylar. He was knowledgeable about what we wanted to fish for and how to get it. Our last goal was to catch a shark and we did that as well. We saw dolphins and sting rays all day. We all had a fantastic time (myself who has never been a massive fisherman) loved our trip. We will be booking with Captain Skylar next year did our family trip!
