Capullo Sportfishing er en fisketur-tjeneste med base på Tamarindo Beach i nordvest Costa Rica. De tar godt vare på de individuelle behovene til kundene sine, uavhengig av alder eller ferdighetsnivå.
Kaptein Gerald Ruiz har fisket fra Tamarindo i 28 år. Han tar charterens suksess personlig og jobber utrettelig for å sikre at hver tur ikke bare er vellykket, men også morsom.
Båten hans er en 22' Boston Whaler senterkonsolbåt drevet av to 60 HK Yamaha-motorer. Det er god plass til deg og et par venner for å dra ut og ha den beste opplevelsen i livet! Dette fartøyet vil ha alt du trenger, fra alt nødvendig sikkerhetsutstyr og navigasjonselektronikk til et par utriggere og tunafôringsrør som levende agn-tank for agntlagring.
Dette er førsteklasses områder for sportsfiske og fiske generelt, så forvent å møte arter som Seilfisk, Amberjack, Roosterfish, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Grouper og en rekke andre arter. Du kan ha stor suksess på kortere turer også, så måten du gjør det på er helt opp til deg.
Kaptein Gerald vil forsyne deg med alle nødvendige stenger, sneller og fiskeutstyr for turen. Han vil også rense fangsten din etter at turen er over, slik at du bare kan slappe av og fokusere på fisken. Husk å ta med solbriller og solkrem!

We also saw several pods of dolphin, numerous sea turtles, numerous flying fish and a squadron of manta ray! We caught a couple of other small, trash fish but the sailfish really was the cherry on top of a great trip. Fishing was slow but Gerald worked hard the entire time!

Our guide Gerald was outstanding in make out trip a success. He worked consistently from start to finish on our trip. He is excellent in targeting Roosterfish, which we did catch. I highly recomment Capullo Sportfishing.

Heldagstur den January 20, 2025 • 3 voksneI had concerns about finding a trip since I didn’t rent a car and didn’t want to rent one. Louise was a savior. She was unbelievably attentive. Quick to answer my questions and quick to line up a shuttle to and from my location. My only ‘ding’ would be the shuttle service. They were a little late (no fault of Louise) and Louise quickly stepped up and added the lost hour to the back end of our trip. Capitan-Gerald was an awesome captain. I can’t say enough about him. He was so kind to me and my two teenagers. My goal was to get my son a sailfish and we did. If I ever make it back to Costa Rica, my fingers will be crossed that he’s still on the water. I sincerely thank you Louise and capitan-Gerald……Chris

Heldagstur den January 2, 2025 • 2 voksneThe owners were there to greet us and ensure we knew which smaller boat to take to the boat we fished off of. They both were very friendly and professional! Boat was small leading to shade sometimes being hard to keep, but the captain was great! It was kind of slow, but he was determined to get us something we could eat that night! Then things picked up and bagged a Mahi, grouper, rock fish and a MASSIVE sailfish! It was a great day. Would definitely go again!

Captain Gerald was very knowledgeable about the local water and came prepared. My groups target goal was to catch rooster fish however was unable to accomplish that goal because rooster fishing had been slow. Captain Gerald did make every attempt to hit that goal. He battled extremely windy conditions which prevented us from Captain Geralds targeted spots for Rooster fishing. The captain kept us busy with that attempt by catching other fish such as, snapper, grouper, tuna, jacks, and other varieties which totaled over 30 different fish for the day. All in all a great charter.

We are in the windy season now but the ocean is coming up trumps with so many different types of fish being caught. You will just have to come back again to try for that rooster fish!
