    (Full Day Trip –Gulfstream)

    Action Packed Day

Our group had an outstanding day fishing with Folden and Alan. They were great to talk and joke with when we weren’t reeling in fish. We had a couple of first timers and they were great at coaching them and all of us through the action to make sure we were avle to boat as many fish as we could. We will definitely be back.

    30th Birthday Trophy Fish

We had a great time fishing with Shawn and Jayson. We caught 8 mahi and one HUGE sail fish. The weather wasn’t great but the crew did a great job working through it. 5 stars across the board!

    (8 Hour Trip – Near/Offshore (4 MAX))

    Cap’n Aaron knows his stuff!

we had a great trip fishing today! I told him we really wanted to catch some Mahi. He lwt me know they are there but usually May-June is the best time. Right off the bat he put us right on top of Mahi! Then he took us to where the Amber Jack were all over the top of the water! My son and I had a great day! His boat and tackle were very clean and he and his crew were very polite and made the experience that much more enjoyable!

Sailfish are iconic Billfish known for speed, aerial jumps, and that tall, electric-blue sail. Anglers target them for fast action, visual strikes, and classic big-game thrills without heavy gear. Sailfish fishing offers exciting battles, stunning photos, and a great chance to practice responsible catch and release.

Most crews target Sailfish with offshore and bluewater fishing. Trolling is common, using small skirted lures, rigged ballyhoo, or other bait fish. Kite fishing keeps live bait on the surface, where Sailfish hunt. Fly fishing can work when fish are tailing or circling bait. Many captains use a dropback, which means feeding line after a strike so the fish can eat, then setting the hook.

Expect quick bites, long runs, and high jumps close to the boat. The fight is intense but often manageable on light to medium tackle, so it suits first-timers and seasoned anglers alike. Bring sun protection, a hat, polarized sunglasses, and non-marking shoes. A camera is a must for release shots. Crews usually focus on keeping the fish in the water for a clean release, so be ready to follow instructions and move fast when the call comes.

Rules for Sailfish vary by country, region, and season. Some places require special permits, logbooks, or circle hooks when using natural bait. Bag and harvest rules can change, and many areas promote release for Billfish. Always check local fishing license, permit, season, and harvest regulations before your trip, and follow your captain’s guidance on legal and ethical practices.
