Becoming a guide was an easy decision for Captain Charlie Cooper. He has spent his whole life fishing, and has caught too many fish not to guide. Captain Charlie loves being out in the nature of Southwest Florida. Nothing gives him greater pleasure than sharing his native waters with guests, and his love and respect for the area is clear to anyone who steps aboard his boat.

    I highly recommend Captain Charlie. The Communication was great for coordinating the trip. We got into a school of jacks, we got some trout, some spanish mackerel, a gag grouper, and a shark. That was a ton of fun and so cool to see the school and all the different fish we caught. I was happy to pull off 3 keeper fish 2 trout and a spanish mackerel. He cleaned those fish for me and did a great job with that as well. He did a great job getting me into some good fish today for my first time ever fishing in the gulf on a boat! I also really appreciated him showing me a ton of basics regarding how to fish in the gulf. His setups for fishing were awesome to fight the jacks on and the other fish. Will be coming back again for sure!

    An awesome opportunity for our whole family!

    Charlie was absolutely fantastic. We wanted a trip with some flexibility for 5 and 7 year old boys, and this was just that. We caught fish, saw the area by boat, had a dolphin show right beside the boat (right place at the right time) and enjoyed Charlie's presence. He was the perfect combination of firm so we could catch fish, yet flexible with young kids. We all agree that this was the highlight of our time in Florida. Thanks, Charlie!

    Our family had an incredible day on the water with Captain Charlie! From the moment we left the dock, it was obvious he knew exactly what he was doing. He caught fresh bait in less than five minutes, and we were catching snapper almost immediately after. Throughout the trip, we caught a ton of fish, including lots of snapper, a blacktip shark, jack, and even a snook! Captain Charlie was friendly, patient, and extremely knowledgeable, making the trip enjoyable for everyone in our family, regardless of experience. If you’re looking for a captain who works hard to put you on fish and makes sure you have a great time, Captain Charlie is the one to book. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be back!

    Familie på 4......Han var fantastisk med våre 2 unge tenåringer. Fanget Snook, Malle, ørret, en liten Grouper (Svart), Snapper og et par Jack (Grunt). Alle ble sluppet ut igjen. Mistet et par babyhaier. Vi flyttet oss til andre områder hvis de ikke bet der vi var. Kyndig og vi lærte mye om fiske på vestkysten. Takk Capt. Charlie

    Last minute trip success

    My sons and I had a trip cancelled earlier in the day. I was able to log ik and fond Capt. Charlie still had an afternoon trip opened and boom. We limited out on Snapper in the mangroves and went out for spotted sea trout and other species. A great time with a lot of catching and only a little bit of fishing. We will definitely be back with Capt. Charlie.
