Captain Matthew Champion moved to Destin in 1987. His father took him fishing here and he knew fishing is what he would be doing for the rest of his life. In 1993, he got his first job on a party boat. Throughout his career, Capt. Matt has worked on party boats, commercial vessels fishing for snapper and grouper, and private charters. He caught so many fish in his life that he doesn't need to catch another one, but seeing the happiness in his customers' eyes while fishing is everything to him. Captain Matt has placed and won several tournaments, including five, 1st place finishes and one, 2nd place finish in the 2016 Destin deep sea Fishing Rodeo.

5 Hour PM Spring Special Rste • 5 voksne⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had an amazing experience on this deep-sea fishing charter! The captain and crew were knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure everyone felt comfortable, whether it was your first time or you’ve fished before. They put us right on the fish and were great about explaining techniques, helping with baiting hooks, and celebrating every catch. The boat was clean and well-maintained, and safety was clearly a top priority. We caught plenty of fish and made memories we’ll be talking about for a long time. If you’re looking for a fun, professional, and unforgettable day on the water, I highly recommend this charter. Would absolutely book again!

Joseph Hitchcock5.0Verifisertgret for our family!
8-timers tur (AM) • 6 voksne • 1 barnwe had such a fun time out on the water with Captain Matthew and Thomas. we had 4 kids with us (6-17 years old) and the patience, help, and teaching from Thomas was nothing short of professional. Having multiple lines in the water, especially as quickly as we were reeling in fish with the kids can definitely be stressful and he handled it like a pro. Captain Matt expertly kept us on lots of different species of fish which is what we hoped for. We can not recommend this crew enough to anyone wanting to do a family trip. The pre/post trip communication from them was outstanding as well.

6 Hour AM Spring Special Rate • 2 voksneCaptain Matthew kept us ‘on fish’ - moving as needed once bites slowed. Captain Jake (filling in as first mate for the day) made sure we stayed baited up and cheered us on with every landing! Good people… good times. Will definitely book with them again!

10-timers tur • 6 voksneThey put us on consistent fish all day and did not hesitate to find better spots when the fishing slowed down in spots. They also made sure to troll every time we moved. Very efficient and calculated by the captain and crew.
