Steady Fishing!

5/5! Great experience! Dave is obvious knowledgeable regarding the lake, underwater terrain, and best lure for conditions. He was a ton of fun to chat with and made the trip very enjoyable! 

Boat/equipment excellent. Do not bring own rods/tackle he has more than enough. Plenty of brand name snacks and water. Even carries sunscreen if you’re from up North. 

I plan on returning trips! Definitely made my first guided fishing trip an excellent experience! 

2 Day Trip with Captain Dave 

Bite was tough because of a tournament going on and weather conditions but he still managed to put us on some fish. Had a great time with good people. We will definitely be back. Thanks 

Great trip

The Captain was very knowledgeable about where all of the hot spots were on the Lake. Awesome conversations and great fishing tips that improved our chances of landing the Big Ones!!!  You can make long lasting memories with this Captain!!!!!

Dave is a fantastic guide and really works to get you on the fish.  
He will help you in your technique to try to bring in the big one. 
We would go out with him again.

Great Capt.  Knew the water and exactly what the fish were doing. He put us where the fish were. Caught a few, missed a few. Weather was horrible, cold, lots of runoff that had the water murky and temps were 10 degrees colder than normal. We didn’t fill the boat with fish but we had a great day on the water. We will do it again soon. Thanks Capt..

Full day trip with Capt Dave

July fishing trip

Our Captain took great care of us. We caught over 15 fish, a few which went 6+.  You could tell he had spent time preparing for not just putting us on fish but thinking of presentations we could execute.  He managed the boat well, even in Gusty winds  He adapted to the conditions well and his boat and tackle were new and well maintained.   I learned about patterning the lake so I will be more successful when I take my son out on our own. I'd gladly use Steady fishing again. 

Had a terrific day on Guntersville 

My 11 year old son and I booked a trip with Captain Dave. Dave did an excellent job from beginning to end. He proactively called me to see if I had any questions. On the day of the trip he was ready to go, his boat and equipment were clean and organized, and he was very knowledgeable of the fishing area. He even extended our time, so we could continue to fish. A great day!!
