    David knew exactly what we were doing right at first light. No feel out process. We had 4 hookups in the first hour. I picked his brain all day on all aspects of these fish and walked away with plenty of new knowledge and a 28 inch keeper. On top of everything David was an all around awesome guy to hangout with for the day.

    Steelhead fishing trip on the river

    Dave is super easy and pleasant to deal with It went nice and smooth Unfortunately we weren’t lucky to get any bites but one but Dave made it up to us by bringing some venison From his hunting trip We will definitely try it again with Dave

    David is best guide I have used on the Salmon River. Bite was tough but still got into the Steelies thanks to David's hustle and hard work. Got them on plug and float rig. Quality equipment too. David is an elite guide.

Set out early with dave to lock down the honeu hole! First cast float dropped. Then for the next hour it was on fire! All good size fish taking freah eggs Great day of fishing

the run has started

the salmon have shown up off the river and staged before they make the big run. there is some brown trout in the mix and the steelhead won't be far from behind looking for eggs. we still have some prime dates for brown trout and steelhead
