Captain Dexter is a passionate shallow water fisherman and captain. He enjoys taking his family out on the water and loves to have other families with kids aboard, too. He is a patient man with beginners and with children, and is always there to lend advice and a helping hand. He has fished the local waters for over 58 years.

    Captain Dexter was absolutely fantastic! He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was so patient and kind to my 12 year old daughter and very helpful. We made some great fishing memories thanks in large part to Captain Dexter. We look forward to coming back.

    Captain Dexter was amazing. He was patient and understanding with my 12 year old grandson and took time to actually teach him. We caught several nice fish and seen turtles and dolphins. An absolute fantastic experience. 10/10 would recommend fishing with Dexter.

    Captain Dexter was great. The bigger fish weren’t very hungry on this day. We caught 2 keeper trout. We switched over to the paddle jigs and caught around 30 smaller trout. It was fun catching all the fish. Just wish we had more bigger ones to bring home.all in all we had a great time and would book Captain Dexter again.

The fishing was fantastic! The Speckled Trout and Redfish bite is heating up. Free lining live bait was the secret of the day! This couple caught their limit of Speckled Trout early and then enjoyed casting artificial baits to Redfish.

Bull Redfish

Two young professional anglers, Anthony and Cooper, along with their Dads worked on Bull Redfish this morning. It was one of those days we dream about. It's my passion to be able to work with beginners and young anglers. The excitement level was through the roof today. I was blessed to be able to be apart of memories that will last a lifetime.

Pendleton ladies Red fishing trip

The day was extremely windy so we fished the east end of the bay. My back up plan worked out great. My 3 lady clients could not have been happier. We caught Croakers, Sting Ray, Catfish and several Red fish. My clients decided to take two home for dinner. The two young ladies were very fast learners and did well with a little instruction. Mom was a seasoned angler and had a blast. We fished bottom rigs with live shrimp and that was the ticket. We were fishing with Shimano 3000 Stradic Ci4+, St Croix 7ft 6in Med. light Fast rods, 10 lbs braid with a 15 lbs. fluorocarbon leader, 3\4 slip weight and a #2 Owner circle hook. We tried to fish some of my spots, but the wind was just to uncomfortable to fish. We ended up fishing in a cove out of the wind and the Red bite was on!!
