Having grown up in Hatteras, NC, Captain John has always admired all the charter boats and captains. With his first job cleaning a boat when he was 10, the captain would eventually get his first full-time job mating offshore at the age of 14. Having fished with some amazing charter captains, he gained knowledge on the industry and is ready to use everything he's learned!

    After a 1 day reschedule due to weather, we had tight lines out the gate. Capt Johnny Fairbanks had us on blues 1st thing. He was constantly on the phone and radio to fill the well. Got our limit then switched to some much anticipated SHARK fishing. He knew exactly where to go. Hooked into a fierce spinner that ran me around the boat 3x. We then hooked into a nice Blacknose. Would definitely recommend Capt Fairbanks on Island time charters.

    Such an amazing trip

    Captain Johnny was absolutely amazing. Such a great guy and he got us on fish in no time. We ended up having the best fishing haul at the marina. I would 1000% reccomend this charter to anyone in the area. Thank you Captain Johnny!!

    Captain Johnny really knows how to put you on the fish and have a good time out on the water. We did a 3/4 day and were able to catch spanish mackerel, blue fish, shark, and red drum. We had a blast and will be coming back.

    Our captain was very knowledgeable and good with helping our boys (8, 11, 15) learn more about fishing. They caught more fish than any of us were expecting and everyone had an awesome time. Thank you!

Hatteras havfiske i september er fortsatt flott for storviltfisk, spesielt Marlin (Hvit), som holder seg godt inn i starten av høsten. Du vil også finne mye Tunfisk (Svartfinnet) og et helårlig kystfiske.

Anchored up waiting for the the tide to drop out and as soon as it started, the drum started biting. Everyone caught a few and we released them all!

Another good day on the water, drum started to bite at the end of our trip and we kept our limit and caught a couple more!

Good times on the Island Time

It was just my buddy John on board, so we went out and committed to looking for drum and bluefish. Found some bluefish right off the bat and ended the trip with some drum!
