Captain Taco Perez has been mastering the waters of South Florida since the mid 70's. He fished for Jacks, Tarpon, and whatever else patrolled the canals and Intracoastal waterways. Taco's first boat was a 25' Open Fisherman, aboard which he explored the Ft. Lauderdale coast. Taco gained as much information as possible from local anglers, perfected his cast, and tried various techniques and fishing methods. Before he knew, people began asking him about fishing! Taco's repertoire is not limited to the waters of South Florida. He has fished all over Mexico, Venezuela, St. Thomas, and Turk, as well as the Bahamas. He has successfully taken part in various fishing competitions, including the Bahamas Blue Marlin tournament. Now, Captain Taco has his own charter business and he is loving every minute of it.

    Kaptein Taco og mannskapet hans var fremragende. God kommunikasjon gjennom appen med svar innen 30 minutter eller mindre. Jack var styrmannen vår og han var utmerket! Alltid på toppen av utstyret, holdt øye med fisk og så etter tegn for å sette oss på fisken. Han renset fisken og pakket den for oss også. Hele turen var en flott opplevelse, fra å fange agn til trolling, til å fange snapper. Båten var ren og slik den var avbildet og annonsert. Rikelig med plass inne og ute. Masse moro! Anbefaler sterkt dette mannskapet og båten

    Taco er en fantastisk fyr og en ekte profesjonell. Jeg vil anbefale denne fisketuren til absolutt alle – enten du kommer som en liten gruppe, en stor gruppe, eller til og med med barn. Taco er mannen. Han er en lokal med en enorm kunnskap om farvannene, de beste fiskeplassene, og hvordan man gjør hele opplevelsen morsom og vellykket. Vi landet noen utrolige fisker – Snapper (Rød), Delfin (Mahi Mahi), og Amberjack – og hadde en uforglemmelig tid ute på vannet.     Cap Taco er mannen! Han og styrmannen Mac var fantastiske. Kaptein Taco var super å jobbe med, ringte dagen før for å forsikre seg om at vi var på samme side. Når vi kom om bord fikk han oss til å føle oss som gamle venner, og vi hadde fisk på kroken så snart vi nådde åpent hav. Cap Taco holdt oss på fisken mens styrmannen Mac slet hardt for å holde linene i vannet, agn på krokene og tang unna. Slutt å lese anmeldelser og book med Capt Taco!

    Vi hadde en fantastisk tid med å fiske med kaptein Taco og styrmannen hans Jack. Selv om det var en tøff dag på vannet, klarte de likevel å få oss til å huke inn noen fisk! Vi måtte avslutte dagen tidlig på grunn av sjøsyke, men opplevde noe vi aldri vil glemme da vi fanget to Seilfisk samtidig. Styrmann Jack jobbet hardt med å rigge og agne fisken vår i bølger på 1,5 til 1,8 meter. Sønnen min og jeg vil på det varmeste anbefale å fiske med Taco og mannskapet!

Fort Lauderdale Fishing Report — Fall Fishing Is Back! Fall is finally here in South Florida, and the fishing is turning on! After a long, tough summer dealing with some of the worst Sargasso seaweed we’ve seen in years, the water is finally clearing up. That means we can get back to doing what we love — trolling the offshore waters of Fort Lauderdale without fighting seaweed all day long! The mahi fishing is producing, and we’re also starting to see some wahoo showing up offshore. The trolling conditions are improving every day, and it’s great to finally have clean water and hungry fish working together. The bottom fishing is also starting to come alive. We’re seeing some nice mutton snapper, yellowtail snapper, and vermilion snapper on the reefs and deeper structure. The bigger kingfish are beginning to show up as well, along with some hard-fighting bonito. It’s been a challenging summer for Fort Lauderdale offshore fishing, but that’s behind us now. Fort Lauderdale Deep Sea Fishing Report: May Highlights & June Forecast May was an incredible month aboard the Hooked Up Sport Fishing off the coast of South Florida! Charter fishing has been outstanding, with an abundance of black fin tuna, sailfish, and a great start to the grouper season. While we didn’t snap too many grouper photos, we did land a gorgeous yellow edge grouper! Wow, what an incredible finish to March and a fantastic start to April! Deep-sea fishing off Fort Lauderdale with Hooked Up Sport fishing. It is truly off the charts. Our bottom fishing is producing stunning vermilion snappers, and we’re seeing an exciting uptick in Wahoo catches—the Wahoo are here, and we couldn’t be happier! Sailfish are making a grand comeback, showing up in larger numbers, and of course, the ever-popular black fin tunas are here—not huge, but ideal for the table. In a rare surprise, we even hooked a juvenile yellow fin—safely released, but what a thrill! As spring takes off, the bite is only getting better. Had a ball today fishing with Cory, Mark Ben, and the Golden girls. What a trip we caught a real nice mutton snapper a small mahi a big mahi over 20 pounds catch one out of two sale fish couple Bonitas great day Cory thank you so much. Looking forward to fishing again sometime soon

What a ball we had today with Luke and his friends from Canada was a bachelor party. We really wanted to catch a sale first which we did not however we did catch a 30 pound king Fish 35 pound king Fish a nice big black fan Tuna and a medium size black Fin tuna guys thanks again. It was an absolute blast fishing with you guys. Hope to see you again sometime soon.
