If you go in the morning make sure yiu take warm clothes as it os cold on the sea until sun comes out. Do more deep sea fishing than trolling if you can for experience and fun more than size of fish you catch ?

a great morning out.
Crew not the best English speakers, but enough for a good day out. Three 13 year old boys and an adult as clients. The children thoroughly enjoyed it (as did I).
Good selection of species caught.

The only thing i could advise first time anglers is the wear a light weight long sleeve t-shirt, hat, sunglasses and a high spf sun cream. Othere than that you'll have a blast

A longer trip is a good idea. We caught fish in the first 4 hours between 12:00 and 16:00, but the best part was before the sunset, between 17:00 and 18:00.

Pick your skipper carefully and ignore any saying you’ll catch sail fish and marlin etc.
Go out early when it’s cooler and do at least a six hour trip

Read the weather, the sea and the time of the year as these are the most important factors when fishing. Make sure to cover up well to protect you from the sun. Communicate in advance with your captain about your needs and he can inform you what to expect.

Do some research in what type of fish you would like to catch. Mostly we were jigging at the bottom of the sea. Basically, let your line with lead out and let it go all the way to the bottom. Since there are currents and the the boat is floating away, you might want to give out more rope. In the meanwhile keep jigging to lure in fish and feel whether you have hooked them. If not, give more way for the rope.
