If you bring kids, bring snacks and maybe a card game for littles, our youngest is 5 so I would plan better for his shorter attention span, but we made the best of being patient for a good bite!

Det er ingen garantier. Vi hadde en flott dag, men flere andre båter passerte oss og rapporterte lite eller ingen fisk fanget. Du er ikke så langt fra land, og telefonene våre fungerte fint. Hvis du har barn som lett kjeder seg, kan de i det minste leke med telefonene sine mens de venter på en fisk. Kaptein Chacas gjør alt arbeidet bortsett fra å dra inn fisken. Han var veldig dyktig og ga gode instruksjoner.

Hvis du vil bruke lett fiskeutstyr og ha mer hands-on med stang og snelle, kan revfisketuren være mer det du leter etter. Det er potensial for større fisk når du gjør dyphavsfisketuren. Du vil fange mindre fiskearter på revfisketuren. Uansett vil du ha det gøy.

For our group, fishing was not the primary purpose, but, upon hearing that one of our granddaughters loved to fish, Captain Jerry and crew helped her reel in a barracuda.

Myself, my wife and our 5 year old went our with Captain Bobby reef fishing. it was just the 4 of us. He educated us, loaded our bait each time we needed, and helped our son have a blast. He was fantastic and genuinely fun. We caught a huge barracuda, Snapper, and lots of other smaller fish. He did a 5 star job and a pleasure to be with. The boat was clean and the experience was memorable.

yes, the trip is labeled as a reef trip, however, we actually fished within the broad rocky shallows (10-15') of the bay; fish (7-14") were biting all morning.
