The water was calm and conditions were nice for kids.
Bottom fishing was more productive than trawling, which the captain warned us about. But we chose to do trawling for most of the trip as that is what my son had his heart set on.
Apparently the season for big game fishing ends around March, so we were a little ambitious trying in April.

Kanskje ikke for de som ikke liker røff sjø, med mindre det er en veldig rolig dag. Det er veldig sol og varmt ute på båten, selv om det er god skygge. Men ta med mye solkrem, hatter og fukttransporterende topper hvis du vil sitte ute bak på båten.

The sea isn’t as calm as it is at other times of the year but if you are used to fishing like we are, it’s no problem at all. We caught plenty through jigging and ground fishing.
