Your Fishing Charter

Ron Doebler Fly Fishing Adventures is located in Cooper Landing and offers to show you a memorable day exploring the Kenai River's fruitful waters!

Come on aboard with Capt. Ron, who has one high priority, to get you on some fish! He's been fishing the Kenai waters his whole life. Expect to use techniques like light tackle, trolling, fly fishing, drift fishing, and spinning based on the species you're targeting. Speaking of which, you have the option of 4 to 7-hour trips, where you'll be fishing for the likes of Dolly Varden and Salmon, depending on the specific season and the day's weather.

Your fishing adventure starts on a 16' Willies boat that can safely take up to 3 anglers. All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Please keep in mind you'll need to get a fishing license before the start of the trip.

You'll be able to keep any legal species caught during the trip. There will be complimentary snacks, and drinks aboard for your convenience during the trip, but feel free to bring your own drinks or snacks if you prefer. Kids are welcome aboard, so you're free to make it a family adventure.

Fish the Upper Kenai river for 4 hours, floating the pristine turquoise blue Kenai River waters. We will target Rainbow Trout, Dolly Varden, and multiple Salmon species depending on the season. Bring your camera for photos of eagles, moose, and black and brown bears that inhabit this scenic float through the small town of Cooper Landing. Light lunch and snacks, as well as drinks, will be provided. Seasonal trip.
